I kept hearing about all the hype so I got it to replace my broken keyboard from the previous generation. So far it’s been OK but the trackpad support for the cursor is really slow and takes getting used to.

If you want your iPad to be a computer you need this, if not skip it, makes the combination of the two devices heavier than my laptop.

I bought this thinking that you could also fold over the back to use in portrait mode, but that was not the case. The item is great, but not very useful if you ever want to use this like a real tablet. Had to return it for that reason.

This keyboard case works great in the only position it supports. It really sucks that you can really only use it in the laptop orientation and not fold it flat. The trackpad is nice to have though

The tilt is the best selling point of the keyboard.

You can't fold the keyboard all the way to the back. You have to remove the iPad from the keyboard to accomplish what you used to be able to do to fold it all the way back. But still, it 's a slick keyboard with a touchpad and the "floating" iPad is cool.

Easy pairing. Apple usually makes good products but this is not one of them. The rubber material gets easily dirty. Longevity is another issue since the rubber starts to peel off. The case is heavier than the iPad Pro.

Expensive to say the least. There is something different about typing on this keyboard than the original apple folio keyboard cover. The Magic Mouse is functional and love the usb c charging port on the case.

Although this is a good keyboard, I am disappointed there are no multimedia keys on the keyboard that allow you adjust the volume, mute, etc. The keyboard trackpad is very responsive and really makes my iPad Pro operate like a laptop.

good if you just want a keyboard that makes it seem like a laptop. It doesnt fold back like i thought it did but i do like the magnetic way it fits

I got this product through open box, it said it was in excellent condition like new. I revived it with all the parts, but it was heavily scratched with a permanent dent. Careful when buying open boxes. It was more like “used”.

I'm not using it as much as I thought I would because it's just not the same as a laptop. So if you're thinking of using this and your iPad Pro in place of your laptop, you might want to rethink that.

It’s a nice idea to have the magic keyboard but this thing is super heavy. It makes carrying an iPad equivalent to a laptop. I returned it only for that reason.

Liked magnetic attachment (easy to remove) and floating view so iPad was closer to me but really missed having a dedicated function keys. Sleek design and cool factor but I need more function.

Wish I could give this the proper rating because I loved my keyboard once I purchased. After about 3 months of using the left shift key completely stopped working. I tried all of the “hacks” and troubleshoot steps to work around it and it works for a couple punches and reverts right back. I googled the issue and many others are having the same problem. I would save your money and go with a cheaper version off Amazon instead of blowing your 300 bucks.

Although together with iPad more expensive than Mac book. Many commands are do not register Register on device. Most apps do not allow rotation making this useless in many cases. In many cases to get full use of app you must undock. Case provides minimal protection and lower piece seems flimsy/delicate. The adjustability is very poor with one setting that is decent angle of view. Save your money and seek alternatives. External surface not very durable. If I pay a lot of money for space gray apple should step up its design game and carry through to this very very expensive keyboard.

With the price of this keyboard it would have been nice if it had the capability to function for taking notes with the case in it too. I ended up buying another case just for that purpose.

too expensive for what it offers. Wish it at least offered additional power or something to justify the high price.

I love the case, but no Apple Pencil holder was a deal killer for me. Yes, it has a magnetic holder but it slides off too easily when bumped from the front or Back.
