Good item to use ipad as a computer accessible to use and lightweight.

Not that great . Have to take it out of the case to write on tablet

Super expensive, was super awkward. At this price it should have done more. How about bending like a normal laptop so you could sit with it on your lap - nope. How about it charge your iPad - nope.

It could use more ports USBC or thunderbolt ports.

Not practical, you can’t use a iPad cover when using this keyboard. Not magnetic on the outside of the keyboard to give some protection. Meant For you to use iPad as a laptop always. Nothing to help Protect from breaking. No escape key on keyboard to go back to home screen.

Maybe I got a faulty product but it stopped working after 6months and I was told I could not exchange it I would need to repurchase. I will not be because if they all stop working after 6 months I’m not spending the money again.

It looks good but the quality isn’t good as it looks. I’ve never bought apple products for this poor quality. The product price too high with low quality. Folding is ez to get loose.

I’d return the keyboard if I could. I asked about returns and was told two weeks after purchase. My keyboard split on the corner literally two weeks after I bought it. I barely used it. Pretty sad Best Buy told me I couldn’t return a defected product.

This was the worse to buy it doesn't flex good at all and still no apple pencil loop to hold the pencil secure. The case is very expensive so one would thing Apple would had made a loop for it. Crazy right!!

It worked for a few months and now nothing. For this amount of money, you’d think the product would last longer, like a couple years >>>>

It's really hard to detach the tablet. And it's pretty heavy. It also scuffs. Worst part is nowhere to put the pencil. It's a zero.

Brutal. Touchpad works about half the time and need to “reset” by closing and reopening apps. Also, doesn’t charge iPad when plugged in. Getting a refund.

Product was broken out of the box. The trackpad did not work. It would stick when clicked and cause the the cursor to go into “select everything” mode. Disconnecting/reconnecting, restarting, hard reset…nothing worked. Returned and will not be purchasing another one as a quick search on the web shows that trackpad issues are common. Would definitely not recommend.

This keyboard doesn’t work properly. The backlit keyboard only lights half of the time. Typing is lagged at times and sometimes won’t type at all. Not sure if there is just a defect with this particular one or if it is an issue all the way around. I am very unhappy with it especially for an Apple product keyboard that has such a high price. And trying to exchange or return it had been a real hassle since all of the Best Buy stores are closed. Sp I am stuck with an expensive item that is useless to me at this point.

Unfortunately, this seems terribly impractical. I wish I had known the keyboard doesn't allow you to fully open the case and lay the iPad flat on a table or in your lap. Anyone who says you technically can, doesn't need to look professional in front of others. If you'd like your iPad to cease being a tablet, and rather just mostly be a laptop, this is for you. If you frequently use an Apple pencil, I recommend skipping this. I'm struggling to see how this is a helpful accessory.

The ipad keeps falling off. I had to replace it 2 times under warranty as the keys failed. Not sure what to do after the warranty expiry.

Ok so full disclosure I got this thing on Black Friday for $199. I usually never buy Apple accessories because of the price but man this thing is AWESOME. The keys are just like my old 2012 MacBook Pro which I loved. I bought it so I could use keyboard shortcuts in garage band but now I am typing everything! I am even writing this review on it now. I also downloaded a diary app just so I can type on this daily. The best thing is how the screen floats closer to you. It’s more intimate than a laptop because it is closer and therefore appears bigger. I also like the backlit keyboard which goes off it you’re not using it, so it also doubles as a stand. The only cons are the weight, the price and the trackpad. It’s a good trackpad but I just touch the screen instead because the pad is too small. The lack of function keys doesn’t bother me (like I thought it would) because I learned to use the volume keys on the iPad itself. At $199 I STILL feel like its expensive and would not pay $350 for one but if this thing in on sale DO NOT HESITATE and get one.

Dont buy it. Keys randomly stop working. Heavy and soooo hard to keep clean.

Could use shortcut keys. Apple pen keeps falling off. Hopefully they come up with something better.

Not even close to being worth the price. Not worth it. I would not recommend this to a friend
