The quality of the keyboard is great—a little on the expensive side, but that’s to be expected from an Apple product. It definitely helps with making the iPad feel like a small laptop. This was a gift for my husband and he says he loves it.

I really liked this keyboard, the build quality is amazing and the typing experience is premium. It is very easy to use and adds an additional USB-C connector which is well appreciated. Overall, I would recommend this keyboard/touchpad!

I love this magic keyboard for my iPad! It works great. I prefer typing text on a keyboard rather than using the touchscreen to type. It is very sturdy as a protective cover, and the tilt of the ipad is easy to adjust.

Great Keyboard, I tried out a few different keyboards for my iPad and this was by far the best one I got. Don’t waste money on any other keyboards. My favorite part is how easy the iPad is to remove from the keyboard.

Unfortunately the promised Saturday delivery turned into a Wednesday delivery of the next week. FedEx is horrible, as I had three delivery dates, and it sat in SLC for four days. The device. I love rigidity, and this thing has very positive closing, opening to the break where the top half of the back continues to a proper viewing angle. The keys feel very comfortable, no lag, nice backlighting, and nice travel with good feedback. The touch pad is great, but does not work intuitively for all functions. The bad. The USB-C pass through is a bunch of wasted space, and it should be occupied with a small battery, or additional ports. The exterior material and feel is very 2008, and should have been updated to something more modern and I suspect something more durable. Since this thing is going to be folded every time by everyone to put away, not only are the hinge seams going to fail, but the pass through port loose material cover is going to fail. This is not speculation, it is fact based upon previous experience with this material and its short life in flexible applications. The best example and direct comparison is with cell phone cases made of the exact same poly blend material. I was happy to hear that my Apple Care for my 2020 iPad Pro covers the magic keyboard. Reading the reviews, I believe most are accurate, all be it subjective as experiences vary.

love this overpriced thing. I snagged it for $199 and that was even too expensive. BUT it's great. I wish it folded back over itself so you could hold the iPad like an iPad if sitting on the couch

I like this as It’s the best option to the iPad but I just wasn’t settled on the smaller track pad my hands would go off of it still thinking I was scrolling . The keyboard should have other functions on it as well. I didn’t like that it occasionally pulled from battery but what can you expect . It also should have a little more tilt to it .

Works great! I can finally use my iPad as an actual laptop replacement when I want to travel light. It's sturdy, touchpad works great & it's nice being able to pop the iPad out when I want to use as a reader The down side is the price. It's definitely not worth $350. But the Best Buy sale price of $200, it was worth it

I owned the previous Apple keyboard, which was great, but the feel of this keyboard is a lot like the macbook’s as they share the same type of keys. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it if you use your iPad as much as a laptop.

This magic keyboard to perfect for typing and gestures on ipad pro. The trackpad on it is very good and sensitive. No lagging when you use it. The whole design for the keyboard is solid. This one will turn your ipad pro to a solid laptop.

Amazing product but steep price. It's Apple soooooo functionality is amazing and seamless. The iPad sticks right to the magnetic back and you instantly have a keyboard like magic. Only downside is the limitation on the tilt and the backspace speed when deleting something (although that may be a processing problem) whatever just buy it haha.

The keyboard is amazing - as a backlit keyboard with a cool floating screen. So, it basically becomes a laptop. However, if you want to use the iPad as an actual 'iPad' and read on it vertical, etc., then you have to completely remove it from the case. The keyboard does not 'fold' back like the normal smart case. It is also VERY heavy. I believe I read that the weight with the keyboard and iPad is the same as a MacBook Pro. Again, kind of defeats the idea of the iPad. So anyway, the syncing is perfectly flawless (as you would expect from Apple), and the keyboard itself is amazing - it is just all other uses outside of a 'normal' laptop are basically obsolete with the case on.

Just got this and am totally in love. Key response is great. Balances on my lap just like a lap top. Makes my iPad the best useable device. For those that say it is heavy. I don’t think it is any heavier than what my surface weighed.

I bought this to replace the previous Apple keyboard I had for the iPad Pro. This one is bigger and heavier, but the pros outweigh those cons. It’s solid and I find all of the available angles on the keyboard to work great.

The Keyboard and magic pad are awesome. As close as possible to being on a laptop. I can definitely see me bringing this iPad on a trip and not needing my MacBook at all. The only downside, which I didn’t consider, so I am not sure that is a down side is, when closed it looks like any iPad case/cover, but when open to use the iPad vertically, the case doesn’t fold over flat way I am used to with my prior smaller iPad cases. That makes it a bit awkward when trying to use vertically. It folds so you can use it as pictured above. If anyone can tell me otherwise please do! I have since bought a regular case and have been using that for everyday, when I want to use it in place of my laptop I switch. Closed it is easy enough to keep in my backpack and not get in the way.

I'll admit, i was really skeptical about the price. It was... a lot. But i was already spending $999 on the iPad, and I've had the previous smart folio keyboard case for my 1st generation 12.9" ipad Pro and this is a MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR upgrade (yes, i was yelling). The trackpad works great, the keyboard... oh yeah.. it's the wonderful scissor-style keys that I loved on my older MacBook Pro (not the infuriating flat butterfly-style keys). The magnet that holds the ipad on is very strong and I love how much protection the whole case provides. Cons - to draw on the iPad comfortably I have to take it outside of the protective case (held on with magnets) and the case is a lot of weight, but it more than makes up for it in how wonderful the build-quality was.
