Truly MAGICAL! This keyboard is amazing. The ease of use, the responsiveness and quality is AMAZING. Plus it was on SALE. The only down side is it definitely adds some weight to your set up.

I bought this then immediately had second thoughts due to the price and was going to return it as soon as it came in. I should have never taken it out of the box. I'm so hooked. This is such a HUGE improvement over the smart keyboards and it really does take the IPAD to a new level. I am really shocked at how well the trackpad works and if you learn the shortcuts with it you can get around faster than touching the screen. It really is remarkable. If there is a downside I wish the material on the outside was a little less of a fingerprint magnet, but I guess you can't have everything. Is it work the price? It would be nice for it to be cheaper but when you see how well it works and looks you might be tempted to, just remember if you open the box and try it out you will be hooked!

Let’s start with the obvious con; the price. This is definitely an expensive accessory for the already expensive IPad Pro 12.9 model. I was previously using a Bluetooth keyboard in conjunction with my iPad and while it was fine to use, the whole system felt clunky. In the hunt for a way to make my IPad Pro function even more like a laptop without having to buy a MacBook Pro, I decided to go ahead and buy this keyboard. Here’s what I have found: While expensive, I truly do feel as though its cost is somewhat justified. The typing experience is amazing and even while being thin, the keyboard has excellent travel, and in no way feels cramped or flimsy. If anything, it feels very sturdy and although the top of the case is heavier to help counter balance the weight, you can very comfortably rest this on your lap and type without any issues. While I feel as though without certain shortcut keys they could’ve knocked about $50 at least off of the price, it is an amazing keyboard. It truly has made my IPad Pro feel like an actual laptop replacement and not just a tablet that I need to carry around an extra keyboard to use. If a laptop is more for you, then the MacBook Air would be an excellent alternative for function and price. But for me, I love the variety of functions I get with the IPad Pro, not to mention the wonderful Apple Pencil integration and touch screen features which MacBooks don’t have. Overall, if you have the money to spring for this keyboard, I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been working with the smart folio case since I got the 3rd generation iPad Pro 12.9 inch back in 2019 and its worked well for the most part. When I saw this on sale for $199 I decided to try it out. VERY glad I did. This is way better then the smart folio case. The keyboard is much better and the trackpad really is useful. I don’t have to always reach up and touch the screen now. I have no use for a MacBook so this really works out great. Yes, iPad OS is limited compared to MacOS, but for most people its fine. The only downsides are the case is heavy. You can definitely notice coming from the smart folio. I also wish the trackpad was a bit bigger, but it does the trick.

I really don't have any complaints about the keyboard. It's sturdy, responsive, feels great to type on. I never considered having a touchpad for an iPad but now I wonder why this hasn't been done sooner. The one critique I can offer is there aren't many options for iPad positioning. I thought it had a free floating hinge to allow you to place the iPad in any position you'd like, but the reality is what you see in the photos is the extent of its motion. That said, the positioning is perfect for setting your iPad on a table or your lap, so not really a bad thing. I also appreciate the magnetic connection. It's strong enough to hold your iPad with no wobble at all, but not so strong where you struggle to remove it when you want to use it as a traditional tablet. All-in-all, if you don't mind the price tag, this is a great addition for your iPad pro. Throw in an O365 subscription and you may be able to replace your laptop completely.

I was skeptical when about the keyboard at first considering how expensive it is.. The price of the iPad Pro and keyboard combined exceed the price of the newest MacBook Air alone also which is something that should be considered. Anyways after having the keyboard for a week I’m pretty impressed with it and don’t regret buying it. It’s very sturdy and feels like high quality which should be expected for the price. One quality of the keyboard that I noticed many talked down about is the weight, which I actually find to be a pro. It’s not heavy at all but heavy enough to feel solid and not easily breakable. I wouldn’t want a lighter keyboard because it just wouldn’t feel like a quality product. Attaching the iPad to it is very easy to learn and once it does attach it feels secure, I don’t have any worries of it randomly falling off regardless of the viewing angle. If only the keyboard lights could be customized and if some Of regular keyboard buttons (return, backspace) were on it it would change my rating to 5 stars.

Pretty Good for a ipad pro case. I enjoyed the virtual experience akin to a macbook

I wasn’t sure if I’d like this keyboard after reading some of the reviews. However, I’m very happy with it. I’ve had the original folio keyboard, and my only complaint was how difficult it was to clean. Otherwise, it was easy to use and worked great. The Magic Keyboard is definitely different, and it makes the iPad Pro a little more like a laptop. I didn’t think I’d like the mousepad, but I use it a lot. The description was accurate, and I will definitely buy online again from Best Buy.

My husband and I bought the Magic Keyboard with the newest iPad Pro. It provides a laptop-like experience that's unmatched by anything else in the market. The keyboard does incredibly well in terms of functionality. The keyboard is top-notch and feels natural. The backlit keys automatically adjust their brightness which is great! The trackpad works great as well! Love where the charging port is...very pleased with this product.

I got this on sale for Black Friday for $213 after tax. It was so nice to receive this for $150 off as it is a game changing for iPads - I already love it and it's already made my iPad way more effective for day to day use. Definitely worth the $200 sale price

This is a great keyboard. If you have an iPad this is a must have. It is my second magic floating keyboard. And to top it off, I got it on sale too. How terrific is that! One word of warning, the keyboard is NOT waterproof, so keep it away from water.

Great track pad. As good as my MacBook Pro. Command key options are nice and I hope they come up with more in future updates. Love the way it magnetically fits perfectly. I’ve been waiting a long time for a setup like this. Just amazing!

After reviewing multiple keyboard finally bought this. Even though this is pricy compared to other products in the market, I think this is the best keyboard for the iPad.

Best Buy put this keyboard on sale for $150 OFF (unbelievable) and it was an amazing big while they lasted, because Apple had everyone (almost) fooled that this keyboard wouldn’t fit the latest/newest iPad Pro. And that you’d need to buy the newer $349 keyboard. SO not true! It fits perfectly, as I knew from a pre-Black Friday Apple deals site. Thanks Best Buy!!
