    Great Keyboard

I was skeptical buying a keyboard that is the same price as a car payment, but found it was beneficial in my work and school. It has a great feel typing the keys. I have noticed that I type faster and more effective. It doesn’t have function keys or backspace, the delete is used as a backspace, but found it’s cool. This is something I used to create content for my blog and podcast, which makes me more productive. Even my 3 year old granddaughter loves the keyboard and I have to have her do typing duty for me. LOL! It weight is a little heavier than most keyboards, but I can dig it! Overall, if price and the weight is no issue, I would highly recommend it.

Better than Folio Smart Keyboard case

I upgraded to this from my old smart folio keyboard and thought that I'd miss the folding functionalities of my old keyboard case but man this one changes the way I use my iPad now. Before, I'd always be forced to touch the screen to navigate through everything (cuz duh it's an iPad), but after watching to this magic keyboard, I basically have a mini MacBook now. I never have to hardly ever raise my hands to touch the screen fit anything, love the back lit on they keyboard which has adjustable brightness, and the gestures work the same as if you're using a MacBook.

Love having the keyboard, still getting adjusted to the track pad. As others have said, would like some function keys. A little expensive, but works very well. Keeps at a great angle.

It is wonderful to use. The only downside is the lack of protection on the sides of the iPad and the need to remove the iPad to use it as a tablet. Plus...that price is ouch!

The only complaint I have is the price. This may be the best tablet keyboard I have owned. If it tilted back a little further that would be awesome

Oh my. The plan was to purchase the new iPad Pro and buy the standard foldingApple Keyboard.... well, give this baby a test drive and all bets are off! The keystroke feel, the way the iPad hovers over the keyboard... the adjustable angle you can set the screen at, the totally awesome quality feel that Apple built into it... the easy magnetic mount/dismounting of the iPad, and last but not least the AMAZING track pad to give you a complete laptop experience sans a mouse.... well, don’t try it because you will want it after you do! Not disappointed at all with the decision to upgrade from the basic keyboard....

I bought my iPad Pro - the big one - only after reading the many positive comments about the Magic Keyboard. I don’t like craddeling my wife’s iPad Pro vs using my laptop to surf. Based on all the commentary, I bought the iPad Pro and the Magic Keyboard. I was immediately impressed with the creative design, how it also serves as cover, and the quality tactile feel of the keys. It’s an expensive add-on, but essential to me - as I would not have purchased the iPad Pro without this keyboard. I remain very pleased with it, and seem to carry my iPad everywhere I go now. Highly recommended accessory.

Amazing Keyboard case as it's probably the best you can buy regardless of price. Not worth the initial price of 349.99. Especially since the Type C port isn't a functioning port and only can be used to charge the iPad. If you can buy it for ~$200 it's a great buy.

I broke down and purchased this after reviewing this and a couple other third-party keyboards and I am very pleased. Bear in mind, this was purchased at a great sale price. Not sure if I would pay full price for this, but for $199, it was a great price. Keyboard feels good and the trackpad works great after configuring it the way I would like it. Since I am coming from using a trackpad on my Macbook Air, the two and three-finger gestures work so good here also. I also appreciate it that I can sit it in my lap and it supports the iPad so that I can type that way.

I got this carrying case because I wanted a better keyboard than what I was using before. And, it is a better keyboard. The touch and feel is much better and the keys have a reasonable amount of travel before sending the character to the iPad. Previous keyboards that I had for iPads did not have enough travel and too sensitive. Consequently, with them I had many typos just from finding the home keys. With this Magic Keyboard, my error rate during typing has been greatly reduced. This unit is not perfect though. Some programs (games) require the iPad to be in portrait mode, it does NOT allow that. Another issue is that in some cases I want to use the unit as a tablet and draw using the Apple pencil. To do that, I must remove the iPad from the keyboard and hold it. But the iPad is hard to hold by itself due to it being too slick and thing. I recommend this keyboard but the user needs to think ahead about how they want to use it and make sure it fits their style of usage.

Really makes the iPad Pro feel like a laptop

This keyboard changes the entire iPad experience! My old MacBook Pro keyboard uses the same scissor switch keys and it is an absolute joy to type on. If you’re a current or previous Mac user, most if not all of the trackpad shortcuts work exactly the same with the iPad Pro making it truly feel as if you’re using a laptop. While it is a very expensive keyboard option, it is worth it! I use a headphone adapter in my iPad Pro’s usb-c port and the magic keyboard’s extra usb-c charging port makes it a lifesaver if you need to charge your iPad and use adapters for other things at the same time. 10/10 worth it for me.

The trackpad takes time to get used to but I enjoy the fact that you have a case, backlit keyboard, and trackpad all in one! Yes the price is high but the convenience is there!

This keyboard turns your iPad Pro into a fully functional laptop solution and unlocks more features and flexibility. It's a bit pricey - even for a poweruser like myself - but I hope that it becomes more reasonable so that other iPad users can access and enjoy.

This is a great little keyboard. I like almost everything about the keyboard. The body is sturdy and the keys are very responsive while the keypad is in a great position and reacts well and moves properly. The magnetic portion holds the IPad securely with no fear of dropping. I also like that the IPad can rest on the keyboard when you are ready to use as a tablet. The only thing I wish was better is the amount the keyboard leans back. It stands a little straighter than I like. Overall a great purchase!

Best Buy offered this magic keyboard for $150 off list price. I ordered one, not knowing it was for the 4th gen iPad Pro 12.9. I planned to return it until the Best Buy folks advised it would work on the latest IPad. Pros Trackpad with gestures like a laptop trackpad A USB C port that can be used to charge the iPad Backlit and dimmable keyboard Great feel and touch for typing Programmable keys More features i haven’t mastered yet. Alway connected- no waiting for power or Bluetooth connection. Cons Only works in landscape mode No function keys
