This keyboard allows you to use your iPad more like a laptop. The action of the keys is nice when typing. Excellent investment for use and protection of iPad.

Best Buy offered this magic keyboard for $150 off list price. I ordered one, not knowing it was for the 4th gen iPad Pro 12.9. I planned to return it until the Best Buy folks advised it would work on the latest IPad. Pros Trackpad with gestures like a laptop trackpad A USB C port that can be used to charge the iPad Backlit and dimmable keyboard Great feel and touch for typing Programmable keys More features i haven’t mastered yet. Alway connected- no waiting for power or Bluetooth connection. Cons Only works in landscape mode No function keys

This keyboard setup or magic keyboard is so sleek, it's so beautiful, and feel so good in your hands. It almost feels like it protects the iPad as well

Yhis keyboard is amazing because is practically how you are getting a real laptop intead an ipad is a little heavy but everything is excellent

This is a great little keyboard. I like almost everything about the keyboard. The body is sturdy and the keys are very responsive while the keypad is in a great position and reacts well and moves properly. The magnetic portion holds the IPad securely with no fear of dropping. I also like that the IPad can rest on the keyboard when you are ready to use as a tablet. The only thing I wish was better is the amount the keyboard leans back. It stands a little straighter than I like. Overall a great purchase!

This case may not look sturdy but it is very secure and difficult to get the iPad off the case itself. The extra port for charging is perfect to use the main port for other media/devices. Keyboard feels great, almost exactly like a Macbook. Touchpad size is big enough but can fell slightly small depending on how large your fingers are. The animations using the cursor are very smooth and never lags. The touchpad works very well with all mainstream apps and learning gestures helps a lot. Overall, I'd say this price tag is worth it. I'm a PC guy and this feels incredible for such a compact device.

I love this magic keyboard. It is so nice, the hinge works well, and the screen angles perfect no matter what I’m doing. The only thing I don’t like about it is it doesn’t provide any extra coverage for your device. The edge of your ipad litterally goes to the edge of the case and the top is fairly thin so the camera is not recessed much at all. But, the magnet works great, holds the ipad well. Keyboard is comfortable and the trackpad works great too. I would highly recommend.

Bought this my 12.9” iPad Pro for the laptop feel. I previously had a brydge keyboard which worked well but was a pain to take the iPad in and out of. The Apple Magic Keyboard is exactly what I was hoping it would be. It’s a great keyboard and great mousing/trackpad experience on the iPad. I sold my MacBook a few years back and got an iMac and now i like to use my iPad for couch web surfing. The brydge keyboard was nice but i would always reach for the trackpad that wasn’t there. Having the trackpad is a game changer with the new iPadOS. Works perfect for me and does exactly what i wanted it to do.

What more can I say, it just works. I was hesitant about buying this keyboard and waited for over a year before buying it because of the price. When I saw it on the "Deal of the Day" for $199.99, I decided to give it a try. It has done all that I expected. It is well designed and the typing experience is nice. The only drawback is the auto-brightness feature. It is only a minor inconvenience. It adjusts the keyboard brightness automatically. If you want to adjust brightness maunally, you have to go into setting on the iPad.

I love the keyboard. THe trackpad makes all the difference. One down side is that I notice that the battery on the iPad doesn’t last as long with the keyboard on it

I was hesitant to purchase this keyboard because it is crazy expensive and there are so many other cheaper options. However, I decided to splurge and I do not regret it! It enhances the experience of using my new 12.9 inch iPad far more than all other previous keyboards I’ve used in the past. It is sooo close to mimicking a laptop, it is awesome! And I still get to have the touch screen/tablet feel when I want to as well. The quick connect far exceeds Bluetooth connection of other keyboards and there is ZERO lag time and it always fully charged. I would spend the money again in a heartbeat!

Overall I find this well made and easy to use. I love the ability to remove the iPad any time I need by just pulling off the stand. The keyboard makes typing easier.

Great quality, I bought this for my new iPad Pro 2021 and it fits perfectly. I never worry about battery life and the connection to the iPad is instantaneous and consistent. Cons/wishlist for the next iteration: Apple should design a holder for the Pencil that is enclosed within instead of exposed outside the case. Another thing they can work on is a setting that will allow me to use my Pencil for drawing/writing where the iPad can lay flat in the case and I don't have to take it off.

It’s so neat! There is nothing that there laptops can do that the IPad Pro and Magic keyboard attached cannot. I actually believe the combo is better than the MacBook 13 inch. It’s light, and the fact it has a touchscreen which hasn’t oddly been modified on there laptops yet is great! The touch bar is eh, maybe a great look for music editing, however if your using the device in any other manner I’d suggest the pair. The camera resolution is always, always number one! I draw more that I blog but the keyboard is absolutely brilliant! Fastest delivery by Best Buy Ever! Thanks a mill!

Perfet. This keyboard stays connected, and quite easy to use. The keyboard charges through the tablet connection or though its own port.
