Works very nice, sleek design, does drain my ipad battery very fast but it makes sense. My only issue is that the keys are getting stuck and its only a few months old.

    Great keyboard for the iPad

I’ve tried several iPad keyboard/trackpad combos, looking for alternatives due to the price of this one, but keep coming back to this due to the execution and tight integration. The Brydge Pro+ comes close, with the new trackpad software update, but don’t like the effort needed to insert and remove it as needed. You don’t have to worry about charging or dealing with Bluetooth, and the iPad easily snaps on and comes off.

An Absolute MUST for iPad Owners.

Absolute must for any iPad owner. This makes even using it just to consume content better. The adjustable angle and pass through charging are two very undervalued parts of this setup. The keyboard is different than a macbook pro, but is still enjoyable to type on and I find myself using it as a fast on the go note taking device when I don't want to take my 16" macbook pro with me.

Makes Your iPad into a Laptop

This is a great product. Completely converts your ipad into a laptop. Apple takes advantage of all the features for touchpad. Cons: the price seems to be way too high and view position limited.

This thing is the best. I don’t use keyboards much with my ipad but this truly changes the way you use the ipad. It’s so easy to type on, fits perfect, and its simple to pop the ipad off and use it without the keyboard. Got it on sale for 199, at that price its a no brainer. If its 350, its still worth it, but only if you type and use it like a laptop most of the time. Great product.

The shipping was super-fast. Best Buy is way ahead of Apple on shipping time. This is very solid. The iPad is very secure in it. It’s also a real keyboard that’s backlit (unlike the smart cover). The Trackpad works very well. Be aware this isn’t a traditional Trackpad, but does most things like a computer. I love how the iPad floats and isn’t part of the keyboard. While this adds a great dimension to the iPad, this isn’t a full replacement for a computer.

I got this on sale and it has improved my workflow tremendously when I do tasks away from my desktop. This is my favorite keyboard to type on - it has that perfect feeling of travel and firmness (I have the fabric folio & a regular magic keyboard too). The track pad is so much faster than reaching up to touch the screen. If you do remote work with the iPad, I highly recommend this keyboard.

Just like typing on a MacBook, love the keys and the trackpad. Everything works smoothly. I only with there was a way for the case to rotate, or at least flip completely backwards/ inside out. I'd like to keep my iPad in a case while I draw but often I rotate the iPad in order to get better angles. I ended up getting a simple rotating case from Amazon so I can use it without worry of damage while I'm drawing, but but its annoying to have to change out the case every time I switch back and forth. If you're just using this like a laptop this probably won't be an issue for you, but if you ever want to keep it in a case and use it vertically youll have to find another case for that purpose.

Excellent case. Can be top heavy if using on your lap unlike a lap top. Command keys are a plus. I have the 5th gen and it works fine since I don’t use a screen protector. Saved some money that way. One thing and this is for all keyboards is that if the apps don’t have a landscape mode, you have to turn it sideways and detach the keyboard if you want to use the iPad keyboard in portrait.

Love my iPad Pro, the magic keyboard adds an enjoyable, easy and effortless experience each time I sit down to complete bill pay chore, write a letter or work on my vast number of return emails. Using my iPad Pro is a positive pleasure, no more constantly trying to balance it in the correct position to read and send messages or working on a time consuming issue. You will be extremely happy with your decision to purchase, good luck......

I love it, it works well and the keyboards nice however there is no volume button on the keyboard and the felt gets dirty. But overall it’s good. I do think it’s overpriced!

I usually just get 3rd party keyboards on amazon, but I decided to bite the bullet this time and buy the official one. Let's just say this turns my iPad pro into a macbook and it mimics all of the haptics that are on the macbook. I can easily switch between apps and its such an easy navigation system. It doesn't require to be paired and it charges the ipad directly without me having to plug in my ipad so no more annoying wires!!!

I wrestled for quite a while over buying this keyboard. It is expensive, and there are less expensive after market options. However, I took the plunge when I found one on an open box sale. It is well worth even the original price. I’ve had a lot of keyboards with other tablets, and this is the truest representation of a keyboard you would find on a laptop. The feel is excellent, and the backlighting is a game changer. Lover it.

This key board looks sleek. It’s cool how it appears your iPad is floating. It’s a regular keyboard. My old iPad keyboard case had more functions and controls on the keyboard like sound, brightness, screen shot, etc. It would be nice if you could rotate your screen too. The keyboard doesn’t fold completely back so if you open an app that is only portrait, not landscape, then its awkward to use. Also, I know the iPad is already heavy itself but I feel it would help more if the keyboard was heavier because if it’s not on a flat surface, it falls over very easily. For example, if you’re using it in your lap, in bed, or where ever on the go, it becomes extremely annoying.

I have a 4 year old iPadPro with the prior generation keyboard/cover and this one is only better in keyboard touch/feel. It is heavy, and holds the Pro at only 1 angle, and must essentially be laid flat unless you want it to tip over when using at an angle. Even the prior generation Pro keyboard was/is more useful because it does not have to delicately balance to be useful. I wonder who the beta test group was that this is the product they ended up with, given that they had a good design before.
