i don’t understand the hype !

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this keyboard makes it so my ipad doesn’t function as a tablet at all and more like a laptop with a frozen hinge. it doesn’t provide any protection at all and every time i remove it i feel like i’m going to drop my ipad. It’s too heavy and comfortable on my lap. Taking pictures with case on is awkward. the only think i like about it is the trackpad. I’m returning it and sticking with the smart folio

Great Addition to iPad!

The keyboard has an awesome feel, much better than the Smart Keyboard Folio. It feels just as good as any professional laptop keyboard (or newer keyboards on Macbooks). The trackpad is small, but very usable on the iPad because the cursor is "sticky" and is automatically drawn to buttons, etc...
