I enjoy the keyboard added flexibility to ipad viewing angle doesnt block pencil from charging magnetically. Good sturdy hold between ipad and keyboard. Case provides decent coverage although i havent dropped it so i cant say how well it will protect ipad. I would feel better having a case for protection over the ipad when moving around i dont think keyboard is meant to be a protective case

The Apple Magic Keyboard is as sleek and well-designed as any other Apple product, so you know the quality and functionality will be great. The biggest downfall (other than the price) is the lack of protection for the iPad. This is essentially a folding magnetic stand with a keyboard and trackpad built in. There is no protection for the sides of the iPad itself. Whether or not this is a dealbreaker will vary from person to person. I was able to source a iPad cover that works with the Magic Keyboard and it makes for a very sleek, albeit expensive, setup.

Slightly pricey keyboard, but worked well. Idea was to use as a laptop replacement. Sadly, I determined that would be no-go for me, as I will need to a larger screen to make that feasible (or just buy a lather laptop at that point). Recommended if you have great eyesight and feel you’ll use it frequently. Trackpad also worked fine, thought I supplemented with an inexpensive MS Bluetooth mouse (which incidentally worked great accessing working through VMware Horizon).

This keyboard is amazing. It caused the iPad to be heavy but very useful

Handy for the typist composing letter notes etc. some times quicker then using your finger than keyboard. Some programs that don’t rotate lengthwise is problematic but overall it’s very useful keyboard and case

I bought the new Apple Air 11" and this Magic Keyboard as my partner's Mother's Day present. She was thrilled. I am so impressed with the keyboard that I am planning on buying a keyboard for myself.

Love everything about this keyboard, it’s my second one. It’s light weight & the backlight keyboard is awesome! It’s so slim it fits down in a normal size handbag easily. Definitely recommend!

The Magic Keyboard is a must have. Does a great job protecting the iPad.

The magic keyboard is great for what it is and the trackpad transforms the iPad from a tablet to a laptop. However, it adds significant bulk in the process and defeats the purpose of having a tablet to begin with. If you’re happy to accept the extra bulk because you don’t have another laptop then I can only reap praise on the magic keyboard. However for my needs, I would go as far as to say that I prefer the other keyboard without the trackpad given the lighter form factor and I already have a MacBook Air for heavy processing. One inconvenience that I can highlight is that I would have wished the screen could be adjusted for sharper angles, I find the range to be very limiting.

Cool look and excellent keyboard w/mouse. Like the size and keyboard action. Trackpad works great! Like the ease of mounting and un-mounting the iPad from the keyboard; and like that the keyboard is powered by the iPad so there is only one power cord. My two issues are can’t flatten out the keyboard case to get a flat, table-top writing experience; and of course the price/value. Yes, it’s great, but it’s also expensive. The first issue is tolerable because mounting and un-mounting is so easy, effortless really. The second issues, the price, well I bought it and enjoy it. Still pretty expensive, ugh. You will enjoy this keyboard, especially if you don’t think out out how much it cost!

By far the best keyboard Apple has made. I was skeptical at first and the price is ridiculous but after building enough courage, I finally purchased the keyboard and I do not regret it at all. Highly recommend to everyone who owns iPad Pro and have the money to spend on it. I use it everyday for everything and this keyboard does not leave my ipad. I love how it floats, the build is sturdy, the way it types, and the additional usb c port to charge. Definitely worth it!
