needed keyboard for new iPad as a Christmas gift for son

Very good keyboard. Connects to iPad easily and has the feel of a laptop keyboard. Also, serves as a good cover to protect the iPad.

This is a good choice for attachable keyboard for the 5th gen iPad air. I wish it would fold open to make it easier to hold instead of having disconnect the iPad, but we knew that going in. We do love the fact that it easily snaps onto the keyboard and you can charge your connected hardware (pen and iPad). It is also a bit on the pricy side so if you're on a budget, you might find better alternatives.

Initially had mixed feelings on this purchase, but it has been very much worth it! As a content creator, this is perfect for me being on the go so often. I can record video, edit on the go, and upload to my venue of choice all while being able to get all of my tags and descriptions correct due to the accurate keyboard.

I love the keyboard. The backlight is definitely a bonus. It is rather heavy, which I was not expecting. It’s about the same weight as the iPad, maybe a pound or two heavier. The only downside is because of the magnet there is a bit of a trick to open it.

I like it very much helps me with my needs for school and work I purchased a keyboard and makes a big difference

I didn't want to lug around my MacBook Pro at work, so I got a Magic Keyboard. It didn’t disappoint!

So far so good. Like the key feel and like the trackpad. A lot nicer that a regular keyboard. A little concerned about what I am hearing regarding battery life on the IPad when connected to the keyboard. Haven't had a problem yet. Heard that some people have had to get a replacement. Hoping this won't happen to me.

Really good and very helpful this is a very good product

If you want / need your iPad Air 4 or 11” iPad Pro to work like a laptop, you really can’t go wrong. My only gripe is with the material it’s made of. Shows fingerprints and smudges easily (the white model is a little better in this respect), but a skin of some kind from DBrand helps and adds to the overall durability. The keyboard is a phenomenal typing experience, really close to a full-size keyboard. Backlight on the keys are bright. I can’t help but think of the old black MacBook when it’s closed up, since its thicker than your average Mac laptop. The trackpad is smooth and accurate, right up there with a Mac’s trackpad, despite the physical clicking button. The extra USB-C port on the left side is really handy for charging, freeing up the iPad’s port however charging is all it will do for you and it won’t be “ fast-charge”. As much as I wish it could fold backwards like the “Smart Keyboard Folio”, I think the pros outweigh the cons.

This thing is amazing and worth all the hype. It absolutely is an additional investment ontop of the cost of the iPad, but worth every penny. The keyboard is amazing, and the track pad, although not as nice as a mouse in my opinion is great as well.

The closest thing toward giving your iPad Air laptop-level functionality. Solid build (a little heavy), smooth keys and trackpad, and instant Bluetooth connectivity. Enhances the iPad Air experience in many ways. Pricey, but got it for $100 off during a sale. That made it a solid buy.

Great device. Built exceptionally well as are most Apple products. This is kind of a game changer for me it really allows the iPad to function more as a laptop. Only drawback I have is you cannot put it in a full tablet mode, meaning I cannot put the keyboard on the back of the iPad similar to the smart folio

It’s flippin sweet just get it and you’ll think it rules

This keyboard is a big step in the right direction from the first one I owned that was always coming undone! You really had to be careful with the first one coming unhooked! This one snaps my iPad Air to it with ease, has a tilt, opens and closes with no worries of it not working the next time I open it!

fabulous product, works great with the iPad for playing games

Really sturdy, solid pice of machinery. Snaps onto the back fairly easily and feels like a real keyboard when typing.

The trackpad alone is worth it, and the keyboard is very satisfying to use compared to other keyboard cases I’ve used. The hit to the battery life is negligible. I love being able to detach the iPad so easily to use it as a tablet. Premium purchase that’s worth it if you feel like swinging the price.
