It worked fine but I bought the Logitech keyboard and honestly it allows me to get to the app switcher with the press of a button, and well as the ability to unlock my iPad. The Logitech one is half the price too. So im returning the magic keyboard. So...if you don't care about the apple brand, I would go with the Logitech and save 150 dollars.

The magic keyboard works terrific in charging my iPad bypassing the charging port.

Magic Keyboard Case Has both Good and Bad Features

Since the keyboard is smaller than average laptop/desktop keyboard it takes some getting used to. Otherwise the keyboard and trackpad are excellent. However. the range of motion on the hinge is quite limited and the iPad must be taken out of the case to lay flat so you can write on it comfortably.
