Great Keyboard, adds weight and not portrait mode

The quality is every bit that of the iPad. Keyboard is great, trackpad I don’t really find much use for. It’s the heaviest case I’ve had for iPad, but I would recommend buying.

    Expensive but Great Quality

The Magic Keyboard is an expensive addition to an already expensive iPad Pro. I tend to think that you get what you pay for with this item, however. The build quality is very solid. The keyboard is comfortable for typing (and its backlit). The touchpad takes the iPad experience to another level (and is something that Apple should have thought about including support for in the iPad years ago). The biggest complaint I have is that this keyboard is definitely designed to accommodate the iPad as though it were part of a laptop. There is no effective way to lay the iPad down and have it propped up at a subtle angle using this keyboard (which is something my daughter does all the time when drawing on the iPad). Rather, we have to disconnect the iPad from the keyboard and then prop it up manually with something else. There are other less expensive options available, but not many. Until others jump on board with a competing design, the Magic Keyboard is really nice, albeit for a premium price.

    TOO Heavy!!!

I got the Magic Keyboard thinking it would be nice with the track pad and keyboard. It looked great though the iPad was a little too low to the top row of keys for me. I ultimately returned it the next day because it was unbelievably heavy. It was nice because it had a USB-C port at the fold of the keyboard but that is only for power and not for any data transfer. It also cannot be folder to use the iPad as a tablet. You have to remove the iPad from the keyboard to lay it down flat. I switched back to the regular Smart Folio Keyboard and am pleased... and it's $120 cheaper.

Love the keyboard and its functionality. Great product. My only gripe is the price. Around half the price of the iPad is a bit steep.

    Great addition to IPad Pro

The keyboard feels great to type on. There is good tactile feedback on the keys and it feels more like laptop keyboard then any other IPad keyboard I’ve ever used. The trackpad is great too. Again, works like a laptop trackpad. The IPad is magnetically attached the keyboard, which makes it easy to remove and replace. As good as the keyboard is, it does have some limitations. First, the iPad needs to stay in landscape mode. there is no way to rotate the iPad in the case. The case does hold the IPad firmly, but has a limited range of positions, namely the IPad only rotates about 120 degrees.

The design is beautiful but the price point cries for more features. At this price point one would expect that docking the iPad would provide an additional charge. The USB C connection only provides a pass though for charging. No additional features other than the case/keyboard.

This definitely improves the typing experience of the iPad. The trackpad is small but you will get use it in a couple of days. The downside is that not all apps support the trackpad very well, such as Office. Overall quite satisfied with the product. A bit expensive though.

I have had an iPad pro and keyboard previously, but this one takes the cake. It's easy to use and in combination with the track pad, it's like having another MacBook.

Surprisingly heavy. It's good to type with but I find that I do remove it when not in use. I would say it's far from perfect. The only upside is you don't need to charge it and the viewing angle is good. I'm still searching for the perfect iPad keyboard.

Really turns your iPad into a mobile computer! It’s definitely a bit bulky and heavy than a normal case, but the keyboard and trackpad are very premium.

It's easily 4.5/5, the only two issues: Mac users will notice no two tap for right clicks option. The magnet occasionally struggles to support the weight primarily due to the angling ability, even with no added stickers or accessories. This thing has me constantly trying to tap things on my MacBook screen, it is really an excellent case in addition to being a keyboard and touchpad. It is pricey but worth it.

Hands down the best keyboard case I ever owned. The trackpad is very accurate and no problems what’s so ever. Battery does drain a little faster bit that is expected

the I pad is great enough. When you add the keyboard, the case, and the ease in which to use it, as well as protect it, you have the total package.

Hated the price but so far it’s perfect for me. Tried others but this one was tops, just wish it didn’t cost so much but we all know how apple does it.

I really like the keyboard, it has turned my iPad into a more functional tool. BUT so disappointed that the rubber rim has begun to tear in less than 6 months of owning it.

This definitely upgrades the iPad Pro to be a much more complete unit that is an amazing blend of an iPad and a laptop. The ONLY reason I wouldn’t give this a 5-star rating is because the keyboard is too expensive (should be $50 less at least) and because there is not a row of function keys (and especially an Escape key). When I’m using it as laptop, it would be great to change the volume or brightness of the iPad (or keyboard) without having to go into menus or the control center. It is a very solid unit and very well built - it definitely has changed the way I use my iPad and am happy I got it over another unit. This matches the finesse and quality of the iPad perfectly. I’ve had some of the older Logitech units (for the prior iPad Pro and iPad Air) and they just don’t have the fit and finish that this unit has. if the next gen version adds a function row and Escape key, this would easily be a 5-star unit. I’d really rank it 4.5 if I could.
