Works Great with 2018 iPad Pro
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard case adds a whole new dimension to the iPad Pro. I can do real work with the keyboard and trackpad now versus just mainly using it for surfing the web and media consumption. While the case is really heavy, designed that way to prevent the iPad from tipping over, it looks like the same material as the Smart Folio so it may degrade over time. I recommend getting a wrap / sticker to cover the back and edges as they can be exposed with this case.

Must have add-on for your iPad Pro Gen 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though there are cheaper alternatives, I’d highly recommend the Magic Keyboard with TrackPad. It leverages the dock connector to alleviate the need to separately charge the keyboard, plus it has a pass through USB-C connector to free up the connector on the iPad for other devices. The light up Keyboard and TrackPad work great, only complaint is the display angle could be a little more adjustable, otherwise, great keyboard.

Magic Keyboard is a must have
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Years ago when the IPad was released, I tried various types of keyboards and was always disappointed. The Magic Keyboard is with every penny. With a mouse pad that lets you scroll too! I really like that when you charge the keypad- the iPad charges as well. Great case to use on the go!!

Kinda sucks to buy new, but worth it to me.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does everything I need it to, and works seamlessly with the operating system. It’s just like having a MacBook again. Plus there’s no battery you have to worry about keeping charged for the keyboard, which in turn gives your another port to work with.

The perfect purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I literally love this keyboard! I got this to take notes in class, do homework for my masters and to help be more organized. It’s sleek and holds up well. With my little one and messy/sticky fingers, it cleans easily too.

Pricely but a pleasure to use
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You pay thru the nose but this thing transforms your iPad Pro into an (almost) laptop--especially with the mouse tracking improvements in the latest version of IOS. And if you don't have an actual mouse the trackpad works almost as well as the one in a Mac Book. The biggest drawback is it's heavy and when I just want to use my iPad as a reader, I have to take it off. But the magnetic seal makes that a cinch.

I know how Eve convinced Adam
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best possible option in keyboard and cases, especially in keyboard/case combinations. The magic keyboard brings together the feel of a tiny laptop that can still disassemble into a tablet when that option is more suitable, and vice versa. The keyboard is so easy to use, had no glitches or lag/delay. No pairing or programs to install, just place the tablet in position and type til your heart is content. Apple has won me over.

It's expensive, but worth it.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes it is expensive, but I have personally tried other third party keyboard cases and none compare to this. If you are on the fence about buying apple magic keyboard case vs a third party one, get the apple magic keyboard case. The third party cases are good but not like the apple magic keyboard case. I was one of the people who did not want to spend the money, but I ended up spending the same amount of money as the this one was. The apple magic keyboard (1st gen) is meant for all the ipads from 2018 to present. One main reason i ended up returning third party ones, they were bluetooth, which drains the ipad battery even more. The apple MK is smart-pin connection, therefore not draining or using nearly as much as a bluetooth case. The reason I got this MK vs the new MK was the simple fact that the edge (where the charger connects to) is flat on the 1st gen and not flat on the 2nd gen. You are not going to have function buttons, but you have to remember this is an ipad, not a macbook. I will leave that at that. Hopefully this helps someone looking into this as much as I have.

Great keyboard and stand
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy how sturdy the stand feels when I’m either typing on it or watching a movie. The tilting angles help very much! I’d give this 4.5/5 stars if I could. The only cons are: 1. The Price-it’s a lot for a keyboard. 2. No escape key-which I’ll probably get used to. And 3. It’s got some weight to it-but that’s probably why it holds the iPad so well. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, and it’s a must have for typing on the go with an iPad.

Let down by outer-covering quality.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are a number of things to like about this keyboard attachment: it’s easy to add/remove the iPad itself, the typing experience is quite good, and the trackpad is great. All these things make the iPad Pro better. But, for the price, the outer “shell” material itself feels cheap, like it could rip at anytime. This feeling is exacerbated by the heft of the keyboard itself (which I do not find as a flaw, I appreciate the weight of the keyboard). It feels like just sliding the unit across a desk could result in damage to the cover. While this may not be the case and it may, in reality, be very durable, it doesn’t feel that way and for a 300/350 dollar KEYBOARD, this shouldn’t be the...case.

good product but a bit expensive
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great product but the price is a bit steep. you can find cheaper products out there but the heft and protection the keyboard gives is unmatched. PS there is no place to store your pencil when its in portfolio mode nor can you set your ipad vertically on it. It does give you aanother port to charge your device leaving your main port open for a dongle or other attachment

Great keyboard but a little expensive.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard has a good trackpad and has stood the test of time so for me. I like how you can charge the iPad through the case and leave the port open for hard drives or other accessories. I even spilled water on it once and it still works! I just don’t like the high price tag.

You get what you pay for!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. Prior to receiving this, he was using a janky iPad case. After getting this for Christmas, it was a huge upgrade. The feel of the product is very high quality and it works right out of the box. No set up, no charging, no nothing. Just put your iPad on it and it connects. We are super impressed and will continue to buy our Apple products.

Great with a few flaws
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best keyboard option hands down for the iPad. I tried the Logitech folio touch as it was listed as a good alternative and it was cheaper. Ended up being underwhelmed and bought this instead. This case is perfect minus 2 things. It is crazy expensive, and there’s no good way to protect the iPad while inside the case. The sides are exposed when closed and it’s completely exposed while being used. Even thin cases apparently do not work at the same time while using the magic keyboard. Aside from these things this case is great and is a must if you plan to use your iPad as more than just a consumption device.

Pricey but worth it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing keyboard case for the iPad Pro. It has a nice feel to it, the keyboard is comfortable, and the trackpad works very well. My favorite feature is that there is a charging port built into the base, so you can charge the iPad but keep the main accessory port available. Pricey but worth it if you’re in need of a solid iPad keyboard.

The best keyboard case for the iPad line
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down the best keyboard case for the iPad Pro and new iPad Air line but it's very overpriced. Simply there is no other iPad accessory that can transform your iPad into a traditional computer like the Magic Keyboard. The trackpad while smallish is your prototypical ultra smooth Mac trackpad and the keys IMO are simply brilliant and are just as good as the ones found on the Macbook lineup. The only qualm about the keys would be there are no macro keys. The keyboard deck is ultra stiff with little to no flex when holding it or pressing down on it. The hinge basically has the same movement as any Macbook but is greatly superior than the two angles found on the Smart Keyboard Folio. The polyurethane is somewhat of an odd choice for such an expensive case since it is a fingerprint magnet and does scratch easily. The seemed edges of the keyboard are sharp which is kind of an oversite by Apple. I should also note that when docked your iPad has zero side protection. The Magic Keyboard has some exclusive features like the ability to share power with your keyboard directly so you never have to charge it. The Keyboard also has a USB C port that allows you to charge your iPad while keeping your iPad's USB C port free for data transfers. Since the Magic Keyboard runs of your iPad, it will drain your iPad's battery 10% faster than normal. Even with the Magic Keyboard's expensive price and flaws, it's hands down the best keyboard case out there.
