I love having my iPad with the Magic keyboard and Apple Pencil because it makes it so functional where I can do so many things… Especially for travel. This is a great way. Not to take my laptop, but to still be able to access all of my files on the go.

Love this addition to my IPad Air. I found myself struggling with the on screen keyboard and wasn’t able to type fast or easily edit documents or spreadsheets. While this device is pricey, it’s worth every penny to be able to use the iPad like a laptop and plug other usb-c devices into it and charge through the case. Love love love this product!!!

The keyboard is fantastic! It always works so well and it never falls off, but it’s easy to take off if needed, feels like an actual computer when needed.

Great option to complement an iPad and make it closer to an actual laptop. Good heft to it, key’s are bright and give a pleasant typing experience. Magnetic back holds very well to my iPad. It’s definitely expensive, but having tried competitors like Logitech’s ComboTouch, I still prefer the Magic Keyboard. It’s hard to beat the seamless integration offered by APple products; I simply attached the case and it worked, without any sort of first-time setup or Bluetooth connectivity.

though it's little expensive for a keyboard, i bought it when its on sale. best keyboard invented for an iPad. period. i love reading on iPad, and it makes so easy to scroll up and down on pages using trackpad. and it's not that heavy too. back light keyboard is an addition too. i strongly recommend.

The Magic Keyboard for iPad is incredibly well made and transforms the experience of using iPad Pro. The weight is noticeable, but it feels more ‘dense’ than it feels heavy, kind of like the iPhone 11 Pro also feels dense but not heavy. I assume this helps keep the iPad from tipping over.
The screen angles are generally all that is needed - maybe it could go back a tiny bit more, but that is not really necessary. The hinges are smooth with that premium thunk feel Apple delivers.
The typing experience is top-notch with great key feel, well-designed backlighting, and just the right amount of travel. No function keys, but really they aren’t much missed here.
The Trackpad is pure Apple. Works flawlessly and can be tapped from anywhere on the pad, unlike the diving board design of competing keyboards.
If I could change anything it would be a more secure way to hold the pencil. Otherwise, the Magic Keyboard is just awesome. Yes, it is expensive, and truthfully, it is probably $100 overpriced. But the quality is impeccable and so I plan to keep it and know I will enjoy using it.

Feels great to type on and a definite improvement over the touch keyboard. Since it doubles as a case, it'll also keep your iPad safe.
Probably the main downside is it adds quite a bit of weight to the iPad, but it's very easy to remove since it's literally just magnets.

I was hesitant about adding the Apple Magic Keyboard to my iPad Air. It is well worth the money. I’m so glad I purchased it. I always use it with my iPad. Money well spent!!

I knew the second I saw this keyboard in person at Best Buy that I was going to purchase it right then and there. This keyboard is so convenient, sturdy, and easy to attach/detach my iPad. 99% of the time I use my iPad for school so I could not imagine not purchasing the keyboard a long with the iPad.

Keyboard is great. It does two jobs. Small and compact. And also protects the iPad. I consider that a bonus.

Game Changer for my iPad Use

The Apple Magic Keyboard for my iPad Air (4th generation) is a total game changer for me. I am much faster and more confident on a keyboard than I am on a touch screen keyboard. The touchpad, arrow keys, and keyboard make my work so much easier. Combine that with the updates in the iPad OS, and I spend more than half my time using my iPad instead of my computer now. Much lighter, and easier to carry when I travel.
While I love the way the Apple Pencil attaches magnetically to the iPad, my one reservation about the Magic Keyboard is that while it protects the iPad well, you can easily knock off the Apple Pencil when placing the iPad in your brief case. It is worth it to have to take one extra step to protect the Pencil to have access to a keyboard I love that travels with me.

Must have

I will start by saying that this is a MUST for an iPad, specially for productivity takes it to the next level. I researched options before making this purchase and let me say that this is by far the BEST option although expensive, there is a reason for it. Elegant, efficient and mobile, i will say that it’s rather heavy and that’s the biggest complaint I have, another thing is the size, but of course what can you expect it’s for a 11 inch display but my hands feel crowed while typing i would say that i have big hands , but after a week or so of use, I’ve gotten used to it being able to switch from a full size mechanical keyboard back to the Magic Keyboard without notice. Overall must have, there’s just the fact the you will have to get used to it but WORTH IT.

This Magic Keyboard works so well. The accuracy of the trackpad is second to none. No other 3rd party has the support/accuracy that Apple included. The USB C side charging port frees up the iPad charger for other things. The material is ok, most people will feel a certain way over the materials durability. But for me, it’s fine. The need for shortcuts are there in supported apps. I don’t miss a dedicated row for shortcuts, I’m fine with the trackpad and other functions. No need to do a Bluetooth pairing, once you place the iPad on the case it connects instantly via the 3 metal pronges on the back of the iPad. It’s a neat connection feature. Overall, I’m so glad I got this one over the Brydge option.

Seemless integration with my iPad - attached magnetically and detached with little effort. Excellent quality key board with nice key action. Has charging port allowing you to charge the iPad. Can easily adjust the viewing angle to whatever you like.
Extremely pricey and heavy! Weighs more than the iPad and has a hard surface so not sure whether it could double as a protective case.

Makes the iPad Pro as close to a laptop as possible, if that is what you are looking to do. Does double the weight & size. The best protection, without an Otter cover.

I have had many iPads with a collection of keyboards. None work as well as this Magic Keyboard case. Easy to take the iPad in and out. Has one extra USB-C connector to charge the complete set up. Itr’s expensive but what isn’t that says Apple.

I've struggled for ages with bluetooth keyboards for ipads. and aside from the slight inconvenience of having to charge those other devices and constantly having to reconnect them, the keyboard lagged so bad. I actually took a video one time of me typing at a relativ3ly normal pace for about a minute and then showing how long it took for all the letters to appear on the screen. at least 3 times as long.
that being said, the smart connector keyboard is brilliant. it is literally the same speed as if I were on my laptop. It so much feels like my laptop, that sometimes I reach for the trackpad instead of the touchscreen.
I appreciate that it also acts as a case. slightly wish I could have more stand angles but its not that big of a deal.
well worth the money.

Pros: key quality/typing experience is fantastic. Keys have good depth and provide great feedback. Overall build quality is very nice and ease of use is superb (just attach by the magnet). Super easy to take on/off magnet. Easy to use on the lap.
Cons: The other side of the coin in terms of build quality - adds a significant amount of weight to the device (even the 11” version). It’s not unmanageable but I was surprised by the extra heft. The lack of function keys is puzzling and honestly pretty annoying - coming from the Logitech Combo, not having easy access to volume control and other functions is frustrating at times. Price is obviously quite high.
Overall: Despite some drawbacks, this is still an excellent keyboard and I’m happy with my purchase. If you’re willing to accept the purchase price, it’s worth the investment that highly increases productivity on the iPad.

I recently purchased the Apple iPad, and it has been a fantastic addition to my tech arsenal. I needed a new computer but wanted something more portable than a traditional laptop, and the iPad fits the bill perfectly.
Its lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to carry around, whether I’m heading to work or just lounging at home. I’ve found it ideal for research tasks; the performance is smooth and responsive, making multitasking a breeze.
On the leisure side, it’s great for streaming my favorite shows. The display is vibrant, and the sound quality is impressive, which enhances my viewing experience.
One of the standout features has been the battery life—it's exceptional. I can use it for hours without needing to recharge, which is a huge plus for someone always on the go.
Overall, I’m really pleased with my purchase. The iPad strikes a perfect balance between productivity and entertainment, making it a versatile device that meets all my needs.
