Mixed Feelings about this pricey keyboard

I just have a few issues with it. 1. The iPad hovers just over the top row of keys so when your typing, your fingers are flat (to fit under the iPad) instead of in their natural typing position. 2. Due to the placement of the Apple Pencil, I always have to remove it before opening the keyboard, otherwise I'll be pressing the volume buttons with my left hand. 3. Material - I like the material but I'm guessing that after several months of use, it will get stained by the oils in my hand from holding it on my lap. My old iPad Pro's folio cover did the same thing. 4. This is hella expensive.
