I really enjoy how sturdy the stand feels when I’m either typing on it or watching a movie. The tilting angles help very much! I’d give this 4.5/5 stars if I could. The only cons are: 1. The Price-it’s a lot for a keyboard. 2. No escape key-which I’ll probably get used to. And 3. It’s got some weight to it-but that’s probably why it holds the iPad so well. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, and it’s a must have for typing on the go with an iPad.

I recently purchased an iPad Pro from Best Buy. I was looking into cases options when the sales Rep mentioned that the new magnetic keyboard would be a great choice. It’s a great product! It offers not only protection but also works great! It’s very light weight and great functional addition for iPad! Price was decent, haven’t had any issues with it. The Best Buy membership also provides great peace of mind when it comes to returns/exxhanges.

Save your $$ and buy when a bit cheaper. Honestly it’s a great keyboard and fantastic design and functionality. But in my opinion it stops short of covering itself as a protective case, which it could have. Otherwise this checks most of the boxes of a great add on for your IPAD. Note: I’m a longtime chrome book user and fan and unfortunately for a number of both software and hardware reasons I still find myself grabbing the chrome book to get real work done. This product has a smaller but enjoyable to use keyboard. Touchpad is great also. But for the $$ if you want to get real work done go with a great chrome book at a much cheaper price or a Mac laptop. Magic Keyboard is a must have

Years ago when the IPad was released, I tried various types of keyboards and was always disappointed. The Magic Keyboard is with every penny. With a mouse pad that lets you scroll too! I really like that when you charge the keypad- the iPad charges as well. Great case to use on the go!!

    Let down by outer-covering quality.

There are a number of things to like about this keyboard attachment: it’s easy to add/remove the iPad itself, the typing experience is quite good, and the trackpad is great. All these things make the iPad Pro better. But, for the price, the outer “shell” material itself feels cheap, like it could rip at anytime. This feeling is exacerbated by the heft of the keyboard itself (which I do not find as a flaw, I appreciate the weight of the keyboard). It feels like just sliding the unit across a desk could result in damage to the cover. While this may not be the case and it may, in reality, be very durable, it doesn’t feel that way and for a 300/350 dollar KEYBOARD, this shouldn’t be the...case.

Does everything I need it to, and works seamlessly with the operating system. It’s just like having a MacBook again. Plus there’s no battery you have to worry about keeping charged for the keyboard, which in turn gives your another port to work with.

This product has definitely improved my work flow and has allowed me to work on projects longer. Its small form factor makes it great for portability. The angle the tablet sits at is not the greatest for drawing at first, but once you get used to it, it functions pretty well for drawing as well.

great product but the price is a bit steep. you can find cheaper products out there but the heft and protection the keyboard gives is unmatched. PS there is no place to store your pencil when its in portfolio mode nor can you set your ipad vertically on it. It does give you aanother port to charge your device leaving your main port open for a dongle or other attachment

Great keyboard/cover combo but docked a star because it is so expensive. Biggest problem for me with phones and tablets is typing using a keyboard that eats up screen real estate. There are lots of keyboard options for tablets but this one really shines because of the quality of the keyboard and the east of attachment. I also like the ability to adjust the angle of the tablet after it is attached. The ability to use the keyboard with the tablet in profile orientation (rather than landscape) would be nice but would require serious design changes and probably quadruple the price.

I literally love this keyboard! I got this to take notes in class, do homework for my masters and to help be more organized. It’s sleek and holds up well. With my little one and messy/sticky fingers, it cleans easily too.

The keyboard works great. I like that the tablet is positionable. I need to be able to move the camera in the tablet so I can get a view of the entire room. I wish the tablet were a bit farther from the keyboard. While typing, I accidentally touch the screen with the back of a finger and am immediately somewhere else on the screen and away from my work. This can be frustrating. Well built.

This is the best keyboard option hands down for the iPad. I tried the Logitech folio touch as it was listed as a good alternative and it was cheaper. Ended up being underwhelmed and bought this instead. This case is perfect minus 2 things. It is crazy expensive, and there’s no good way to protect the iPad while inside the case. The sides are exposed when closed and it’s completely exposed while being used. Even thin cases apparently do not work at the same time while using the magic keyboard. Aside from these things this case is great and is a must if you plan to use your iPad as more than just a consumption device.

The keyboard is a must to transform your iPad Air into a legitimate replacement for your computer. It covered all basic tasks, including email, web, word, excel, power point. Much easier than lugging around computer especially when traveling.

The best keyboard case for the iPad line

Hands down the best keyboard case for the iPad Pro and new iPad Air line but it's very overpriced. Simply there is no other iPad accessory that can transform your iPad into a traditional computer like the Magic Keyboard. The trackpad while smallish is your prototypical ultra smooth Mac trackpad and the keys IMO are simply brilliant and are just as good as the ones found on the Macbook lineup. The only qualm about the keys would be there are no macro keys. The keyboard deck is ultra stiff with little to no flex when holding it or pressing down on it. The hinge basically has the same movement as any Macbook but is greatly superior than the two angles found on the Smart Keyboard Folio. The polyurethane is somewhat of an odd choice for such an expensive case since it is a fingerprint magnet and does scratch easily. The seemed edges of the keyboard are sharp which is kind of an oversite by Apple. I should also note that when docked your iPad has zero side protection. The Magic Keyboard has some exclusive features like the ability to share power with your keyboard directly so you never have to charge it. The Keyboard also has a USB C port that allows you to charge your iPad while keeping your iPad's USB C port free for data transfers. Since the Magic Keyboard runs of your iPad, it will drain your iPad's battery 10% faster than normal. Even with the Magic Keyboard's expensive price and flaws, it's hands down the best keyboard case out there.
