I bought this keyboard when I got a new iPad. It is awesome. It serves as a keyboard, a stand, and a case for the iPad. I am very happy with it.

This keyboard has a good trackpad and has stood the test of time so for me. I like how you can charge the iPad through the case and leave the port open for hard drives or other accessories. I even spilled water on it once and it still works! I just don’t like the high price tag.

so I bought this for my 2018 iPad Pro and it a wonderful addition. I have 3 other keyboards that are nice by all standard but none comes close to this apple magic keyboard. It instantly turned my iPad to a computer. the keyboard has a nice travel and the trackpad is really good. Though it is a bit pricey but it is worth it. It is like it changed my iPad Pro to something different.

This keyboard is very light on its own, but once you add your iPad Air or pro it will be a bit of a weight and you can feel that weight. Other than that, the upper keys such as functions keys, your finger will bump to the underside of your iPad. I feel it needs more space between those upper keys and the bottom of the iPad. I feel this an Apple design flaw. Something Apple can better the ergonomics behind this keyboard design. It has a USB-C port where you can charge your iPad. Other than that, I recommend Best Buy protection over Apple care plan, it’s cheaper and they can replace it if it can’t be repaired. I prefer black over white as time will get the white keys dirty and look ugly.

Typical Apple design - intuitive and very easy to use. Particularly like how easy it is to switch from laptop to tablet, without having to remove a case or pry the iPad out of clamps that had snapped, making me dread using my previous keyboard. Trackpad is a welcome addition that makes the iPad a reasonable alternative to a traditional laptop. It just works.

It is very responsive and the way the iPad simply floats on the dock is incredibly satisfying and very sturdy. I think it has been my favorite accessory because the keyboard is super comfortable to use despite it’s smaller size. The trackpad also comes in handy far more than I would’ve imagined and really opens up the utility of the iPad. Only questionable part is the price… this thing is ridiculously expensive but if you need a keyboard for your iPad or want to do any extended typing sessions, I think it’s worth it.

I was hesitant to buy this at first, given the high price. I bit the bullet and was going to return it if I didn’t think it was worth the price. I was very pleasantly surprised! It is sturdy, light enough, and very comfortable to type on. Being a first-party accessory, it works flawlessly with the iPad. I’m very happy with it, it really improves the utility of the iPad.

I love this thing. I originally purchased a rival device to save money, but after seeing one of these in action decided I wanted the real deal. The construction of this thing is awesome, and its sturdy even on laps, couches, beds, etc. I am impressed with the look and feel and functionality, and while I wish it was less expensive, its worth every penny.

The keyboard works great and the case does a good job of protecting. Down one star bc the case is a dust magnet and scuffs up very easily.

Angle options, trackpad and backlit keyboard are big upgrades. The price is prohibitive. This was an indulgence, especially considering I already had the original offering from Apple and REALLY enjoyed it. I just decided, I’m going to be working from home on this thing for a few months doing lots of Zoom and Teams meetings. This makes it a LAPTOP replacement for sure.

Great product, super helpful. It is a little heavy (compared with the iPad), but still, it is super portable. So far I have not complained at all, and it has been a great complement to my iPad.

There are several alternatives out there, but they dont touch the greatness of the Magic Keyboard. I bought and tried a several b4 bitting the bullet and going for this one. The one thing that was holding me back was the protection of my ipad edges, i wanted some way to keep it safe when i pulled and put it on my bike or tread for peloton. The solution was to add(i know more money) a switch easy cover buddy case, its awesome and fits the magic case and perfectly folds your pencil. Back to Magic Keyboard, it quickly snaps your ipad in place, keyboard and function is good(miss function keys). Keyboard firm enough to use in my lap while watching tv. Close the case it shuts down ipad, you can charge thru the case. It’s expensive but its the best.

I was really hesitant to buy this new keyboard, wondering if I would really benefit from having the trackpad function. That was answered here recently as I've completed a two-month business trip where I used my iPad with this keyboard case as my operations computer instead of my 16" MacBook Pro. I mostly used it for Excel and Outlook tasks. The trackpad transformed Excel for iPad. I'm often capturing live data streams and graphing it for performance analysis. The iPad Pro processor is a monster when it comes to handling charting 10's of thousands of lines of data - I'd say it gives the average high end laptop a run for its money. Having a mouse pointer in iPad OS and now with the brilliant, spacious trackpad in this new Magic Keyboard case makes Excel a very laptop-like experience. While I won't say it replaces my MacBook, it definitely makes for a great companion to it when I don't have the space to lay out a full-size laptop. Another benefit to this case is the way the screen can be laid back. This makes for a much better view when I'm extending my Macbook's desktop to the iPad as a second monitor (Airplay). If by some accident I broke the Magic Keyboard, I'd definitely replace it. It has won a seat in my travel bag for sure.

I’m not saying this will be the best cheapest keyboard you will find. But the connectivity and styling is amazing. There is no charging, no paring, nothing!! You simply snap on your iPad and go to work! The trackpad makes it seem very familiar to your MacBook or Magic Trackpad. The gestures work great and it’s just smooth and it just works!

Love this keyboard. The keys light up and have the perfect amount of depression when pressed and the trackpad is flawless. Only flaws that I can pick up on are that the keyboard doesn’t have buttons for volume control and there is no slot for the Apple Pencil. The second was easily remedied by purchasing Spigen’s Apple Pencil holder for this very keyboard setup. The volume function missing from the keyboard, while very inconvenient and a pretty basic feature to include in a keyboard of this price, isn’t entirely a dealbreaker as you can adjust the volume a few other ways when needed. So far my favorite portable keyboard setup I’ve had for any of the many iPad’s I’ve owned over the years.
