I missed the shortcut keys and the protection that my Logitech Folio Touch offered, but I had to replace it three times. This is a fantastic change, and I am looking forward to getting used to it. I love how the iPad attaches to this one, the color is stylish and appealing.

I was going to get an older generation model but once I got to the store, another Best Buy customer was there shopping and told me she got the newer model and loved it. The sales person who helped me also was very knowledgeable and helped me. I love the new iPad! And the pencil I got as well.

Good, but not perfect for the price

I had a 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch with its respective Keyboard Folio, and it was great! The Folio for that generation had its problems, but overall it was satisfactory. With the new one, it seems that they’ve solved almost all of the problems the old one had, but introduced new problems as well. Let’s start with the good. The new keyboard is a pleasure to type on. While the 11-inch version does feel a tad cramped, the keys with their new scissor-switch design feel satisfying to type on. The backlighting is also great, although I’d like for there to be an easier way to adjust brightness (currently, the only way to do so is to go into general settings, into keyboard settings, into physical keyboard, and then into brightness). The trackpad is also a great addition, maximizing on the remaining space below the keyboard. It also leaves room for relatively comfortable wrist rests, which make typing that much more comfortable. The keyboard is also just very high quality, which you would expect for the price. USB-C passthrough is also handy, and allows me to charge on either side of the iPad. The magnetic attachment of the iPad to the folio is also very sturdy. I never feel like it’s going to slip off or give. But then they added problems that the original Keyboard Folio never had. For instance, you can’t fold the keyboard full around, meaning that if I want to use the iPad as a tablet in my lap, I have to remove the iPad from the folio. The folio is also just unexpectedly heavy, even heavier than the iPad itself, by a considerable margin. Another small complaint is that the folio closes on the screen with such strength that it’s almost impossible to open up with one hand. I might need to get more used to it, but for the time being, having switched from the previous iPad Pro, these things annoy me maybe more than they should. Overall, it’s a great product. But considering the added problems and the frankly absurd price, I can’t give it more than a 4/5.

Keyboard just the right addition to my iPad Pro. It works better than my keyboard for my cpu. Trackpad on point, it’s durable and steady, a little heavier than expected but you can use it anywhere on your lap on a desk in the car or on platform

There is a reason they call it a Magic Keyboard with the easy setup and power integration for charging is perfect. Great look and feel key board.

Best Keyboard for Apple iPad Air 2024

There are a few options out there for keyboards that will work with the iPad Air 2024 but the Apple brand Magic Keyboard JUST WORKS…. I have tried Samsung keyboards with Samsung tablets and they just don’t work as smooth as the Magic Keyboard. The trackpad is another life saver as well. You won’t have to attach a mouse every single time you go to use the iPad. Go get you one and try it out and if you don’t like it you can return it.

Everything works very well, including the touchpad. Best of all, it adds a charging port! it can only be used for charging but still, that is a great thing. The only issue would be of preference, the viewing angles aren't as broad as one might want but it makes sense given the design and balance and such.

Magic keyboard makes Ipad pro feel like laptop. M1 chip makes ipadpro feel like laptop in speed and response. Only wish more USB ports on keyboard to add more attachments. Folds compactly, but does add a little weight to ipad.

Typing experience is smooth and easy, no need to charge ever is fantastic! It is thin and protects the unit. The mouse is really receptive and i would say this is about as close as Apple is ever going to come in terms of a laptop replacement because my iPad gives my Mac a run for my money with this thing.

I absolutely love this adjustable stand and keyboard. It holds my Ipad in place and has an opening so that I can still take pictures. The keyboard is just like using a regular size computer keyboard just condensed down to fit the IPad. It makes typing so much easier with the keyboard.

Love the size, colour and how compact it is. The keys feel great & even light up, which I wasn’t aware of before I bought it. I only wish it was a little lighter and didn’t feel a little like rubber. I guess the weight = quality materials.

Quality is very good. Typing is easy with it. However, you cannot use only the tablet with the cover. You need to take it out of the case to use the tablet alone. And this withdrawal is not practical, it needs to be undocked. With that, I had to buy a second cover for when I want to use only the tablet.

Overall, an excellent product. I believe only once did it freeze on me (during Scrabble), but other than that, a flawless experience. Very comfortable keyboard to type on. I will be using this for law school in the fall! My only gripe is the price. Why couldn't it be $200?

Love this keyboard. I love the way it types and is portable. I had bought the Brydge before but returned it because the sleep mode took forever to turn on and it doesn’t do the hand gestures on the pad. This keyboard has basically all that I need when working. My wife now wants one.

The keyboard is very nice, works extremely well, mouse pad is awesome and can be used for any app. However, if this is for someone who needs to switch to portrait mode often, then it may not be worth it because you need to remove the iPad to do so. If I would have known that I may not have gotten it. I do like it though for landscape mode, but I switch to much between the two. It’s heavy too, much heavier than anticipated, definitely will add some weight to your bag.

Works great on my iPad Air 5th generation. Easy to use when traveling. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star? The is no place to store my stylus pen when traveling. It would nice if they had one so I don't have to store it separately. Other than that works as an Apple product should.

Great Keyboard overall! Easy to use, very durable. Wish it had controls for volume, brightness, etc on the physical keyboard but still a great keyboard for the iPad. A bit pricy but worth it, if you do lots of typing and like the feel of using a physical keyboard instead of the onscreen iPad keyboard.
