This is a must for an Ipad Pro
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a must if you have an Ipad Pro. I use this more than my laptop now, And makes my Ipad function as my goto for when I’m on call. Super portable, light and thin (yet functional) I also love that this connects magnetically so you just pull it off the backing to function as a normal tablet. Expensive but worth it.

Excellant keyboard!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a pricey keyboard, but well worth it! Lover how it is backlit and makes my iPad Air work more like a laptop. I love the charging usbc and the feel of the keys when I type. I have another case for trsvel, but this will still go in in my backpack as well! I am loving this keyboard case! I do wish it could tilt back a little more, but it does the job well!

Amazing! Just a bit heavy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it! It is better than the folio I was using. The only downside is that it increases the weight by enough where it becomes noticeable. Pricey sure, but then again its apple .

lived without, but now wish I had it earlier
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this only after 6 months without it. I don’t regret it, but it is big. Sure I can “scribble” text with the pen, but the keyboard is so nice when writing reviews online!

Magic Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Magic Keyboard takes the iPad to another level, basically turning it into a mini laptop. It is perfect for turning the iPad into a laptop replacement if it is what you are looking for. The keyboard works incredibly well and it’s magnetic. The only down side to me is finding a great case for both the iPad and keyboard to work together. It essentially works as one itself.

Great keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I rarely write reviews but I felt I had to on this item I read YouTube reviews and had some issues I read about not very easy to open which is not true it doesn’t get any simpler keyboard size is big enough for my big hands, now the outside material that it’s made can’t say much but I see the bottom of the reviewers and looked like he’d had it sitting on rocks claiming it wasn’t made from a long lasting material for the price but I think care was a big overall love it easy to use very well setup no fussing with batteries no Bluetooth setup all automatic charges fast thru keyboard or directly plug into iPad can’t say enough well done apple!

The Key to Making the iPad a Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an investment that fully transforms the iPad into a laptop-like device It's a must-have if you want your iPad to be both a fully productive laptop and a lean back entertainment tool. It's pricey, for sure, but well worth the investment. Pros: * Backlit keyboard * Trackpad * Ability to tilt iPad to your liking * Much improved key travel over Smart Keyboard * Easy to remove iPad from keyboard. Cons: * Adds significant weight, making it as heavy as a MacBook Pro. * Feels back heavy on your lap. * Expensive.

Great Addition for a 10.9 iPad Air
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this keyboard. It’s really well built. For me, the keys have a great feel. I love that I can easily take my iPad Air off and just use it as a tablet. But, when I want to be productive, easily attach the keyboard and start working. The keyboard is quite heavy compared to the iPad Air, but this weight makes typing on a desk or lap more secure. The trackpad addition is great. Definitely makes your iPad more productive. What makes this keyboard even better is that I was able to price match it when it was on sale at a different store. Saved almost 50%.

Gold Standard
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This case has transformed how I interact with my iPad Pro. Before using this case I had the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio and this puts that case to shame in most situations. The typing experience is significantly better with the magic keyboard and the magnets are significantly stronger. Having a built in trackpad and backlit keyboard are also great. Some people have complained about not being able to find it backwards, but I velvet liked the feeling of the keys when using it in tablet mode anyway. I’ve also used the Logitech Combo Touch keyboard case and this blows that out of the water! Yeah it’s expensive, but worth the money in my opinion.

Largely depends on how you use your iPad
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because the virtual keyboard takes up too much screen space when on email or excel in landscape mode and I wanted to try a physical keyboard. If you are using this on a desk or table and like using a trackpad, you will find that it is very solid and makes your iPad feel more like a laptop. It's best used as a keyboard dock for people who want to remove the iPad to use without a cover. It's not as good a match for using on your lap. It's less stable, and having the keyboard gets in the way somewhat with you being able to use the touchscreen. As a case, it's heavy and I wouldn't count on this to protect the edges if it's dropped on a hard surface.

Expensive but Great Quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Magic Keyboard is an expensive addition to an already expensive iPad Pro. I tend to think that you get what you pay for with this item, however. The build quality is very solid. The keyboard is comfortable for typing (and its backlit). The touchpad takes the iPad experience to another level (and is something that Apple should have thought about including support for in the iPad years ago). The biggest complaint I have is that this keyboard is definitely designed to accommodate the iPad as though it were part of a laptop. There is no effective way to lay the iPad down and have it propped up at a subtle angle using this keyboard (which is something my daughter does all the time when drawing on the iPad). Rather, we have to disconnect the iPad from the keyboard and then prop it up manually with something else. There are other less expensive options available, but not many. Until others jump on board with a competing design, the Magic Keyboard is really nice, albeit for a premium price.
