I bought this because I needed a way to charge my ipad after the built in charging port wore out. But now that I have it I find that I absolutely love having an external keyboard. I've had a 3rd party keyboard in the past for my ipad that I found to bulky and annoying to use. Apple's is MUCH better.

Awesome addition to the iPad Pro 12.9 inch. The Magic Keyboard is a seamless keyboard that adds functionality to the iPad. I love this keyboard especially the way it floats on air. Highly recommended for all. It’s a bit pricey but worth it!

After almost three years - it became time for a new keyboard for my iPad pro...I went with a non-Apple brand before (and it was fine) but decided to go with the real deal this time - and it was a great choice... It feels and looks solid and operationally is top notch...

I absolutely love my keyboard not only do I have to hold my iPad up anymore it protects it as well. It's nice to have keys instead of just a touch screen alone. Awesome purchase so glad I made it

Pros: Great keyboard. Probably the best I have tried on the ipads. Easy to attach (magnetically) and no need to charge as the iPad supplies it with power. Has a USB type C port to allow you to charge the iPad while leaving the port on the iPad available to use. Keyboard feels smooth, responsive, and easy to use. And yes, with the weight of the keyboard you can use it as a "laptop" on your lap. Cons: Large price tag. Logitech keyboard provides similar experience for much less. This keyboard is not a good case and does the minimal to protect your tablet.

This is a great keyboard and trackpad case. While it's not cheap, the quality is excellent, and the ease of mounting the iPad Pro makes it totally worth it.

Honestly I haven’t found a thing i do not like about it, i havent had to charge it, it sounds and feels like a retro mac keybord its snug and doesnt fall or move out of place 10/10

I absolutely love this Magic Keyboard for my 13" Ipad Air. The keyboard is very responsive, as soon as I turn on my Ipad the keyboard is up and running. I wish I had purchased this keyboard at the same time I bought the Ipad Air. I did try 2 other brands with they stated it was made for the Ipad. But neither worked completely. There were glitches in both. They were returned. If you are looking for a substitute for a laptop, this is it. If you purchase an Ipad go ahead and get the Magic Keyboard that works with it. You will not be sorry. When you do not want to use the keyboard, you just unattached the keyboard and now you have a tablet. Best of both worlds.

Love it! Easy to use. Easy to use software that comes with the purchase of the Pad Pro. Love the way the key board folds up to form a case. Love the way you can change the angle for viewing. this is very helpful if you are working for an extended time on it. Very happy with this .

I am a long time Apple product user. I have been using my iPad without a keyboard for some time now, but when I saw the magic keyboard on sale I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did! I type a lot for what I do for work, I can easily use my iPad to take notes, send emails, etc. instead of my MacBook. There was a bit of a learning period, I have big hands and the keys were a little closer together than I was used to. The trackpad makes the iPad just like a MacBook, it recognizes the same gestures to switch windows, view your open apps, scroll, etc. If you are constantly taking notes and typing, I highly recommend giving it a try!

While the Logitech case was much cheaper, it was so heavy. This is the best case and keyboard for your iPad but it's still not great. When you detach you can't have a case so u never want to use my iPad as a tablet. Also it's not Bluetooth so there's no lag on input and there's no need to charge it

This keyboard is fantastic, I truly use my iPad because of this. If you can afford the hefty $350 price tag, buy it, it's phenomenal. I also love that it's covered under the iPads Apple Care policy. So if anything happens, Apple will take care of it for a very small deductible.

I was hesitant to spend the amount of money this thing cost but I went for it. And let me just say, absolutely worth it. Easy setup, pop it on and go. It makes so many things easier, emails, texting and other projects. It’s a great sturdy stand and provides excellent protection.

This thing is sick - I really like the fact that it has actual keys. It's lightweight, super easy to use. The adjustment of the tilt for the ipad is awesome. Easy to use on your lap, on an airplane table, or at a small desk. Easy to setup and works great. Good quality and certainly would buy another one.

I had a generic one that was nice because it rotated but was clunky. I switched to this and my battery lasts immensely longer. I’m not sure if it’s charging the iPad or just using less but it’s almost doubled the usability.

I purchased the more costly keyboard by accident. However, this on e is serviceable.

Perfect. I’ve tried a couple of other 3rd party keyboard/case devices trying to avoid “the Apple tax”, but you know what? Save a few dollars on the hardware and suffer for it with just-not-quite-right solutions. I ended up with a Magic Keyboard and have never looked back. This is my second one - the first one stayed with my old 2018 iPad Pro which I still have. No fuss, no muss. It just WORKS.

This protector, stand, mouse, and keyboard all in one is genius. The magnet adhering it to the iPad is very strong and secure. (I would NOT advise holding the device by the keyboard alone- don’t want to test the limits.) The keys are very receptive and respond well to finger-tips and nails. The positions of the stand, for the viewing, are adjustable for visual comfort. Additional feature- the keys illuminate when the board is in use which is appreciated for note taking in a darkened environment. The mouse pad is also very responsive and intuitive to use. Great way to both protect the iPad and enhance the use and function of the device. The only negative is there is no way to safely turn and set down the device when viewing archaic apps that are only in portrait format.

I am glad I bought this keyboard. It turns my iPad into a laptop. It is a little bit pricey but the built is solid and serves as a cover too.
