pricey, wish it came in different colors, works great

This combined with the M1 iPad Pro is my new laptop. I also have an M1 MacBook Pro and since this arrived I rarely use the MacBook. I believe this is a little pricey and about $100 less would be a good value. I recently saw it on Best Buy Deal of the Day for $199. Check the App/Site every day!

The keyboard is awesome. It is quite easy to install on the iPad and works very nicely, making typing quite easy. It is reliable and quite attractive.

I am glad I got a warranty as all keyboards have and end date… I just purchased this after getting a full refund for my other one that died… I used it heavily and nothing physically went out. I think it was a battery issue, but I loved it so much I knew I was going to get another one…just get the extended warranty… i tried other keyboards on my earlier iPads, but the Magic keyboard is superior and Best But did a price match. I am very happy with Best Buy and the product itself.

If you have a iPad, this just a no brainer. You need this. We were trying to decide between an iPad and a Mac book. The iPad and Magic Keyboard just was a great fit for college life. This keyboard makes the iPad so much protected and give options as far as note taking and test taking. Would highly recommend.

Bought this for my wife, who has had her iPad Pro 10in for a couple years now. She absolutely loves this keyboard. She originally purchased a Logitech keyboard with the tablet, but this keyboard has since replaced the Logitech keyboard. It makes the tablet feel like a laptop. It has a solid feel, but the keys feel like a MacBook’s keys. When the keyboard is connected, you can plug your charging cord into the keyboard and it will charge the entire system (keyboard tablet, and pencil). No regrets at all, this was well worth the money.

I love this keyboard! It is backlit and allows you to basically turn your iPad into a Mac. The positions you can put your iPad in are much better than the triangle fold covers. This keypad closes up into a nice cover. When opened, depending on if you are sitting or in a laying position, you can move the iPad both down and up for comfort. Only downside is the price, like most Apple products the quality is exceptional which is why you will have to pay more. In my opinion though the price for the quality is well worth it!

This keyboard basically turns the iPad into a touchscreen laptop with an excellent trackpad and keyboard. It also protects the iPad when closed.

Just perfect. I have used iPads and aftermarket keyboards for several years not realizing how easy the Magic Keyboard is not only to use but to charge how easily it connects and that when you purchase things that are actually meant to go together that the work seamlessly. Just happy that something worked as it is supposed to.

Magic vs Smart Keyboard differences Magic keyboard positives- multiple angles, lighted keyboard, mouse pad (i hardly use, but may just need to get use to it), charging ports on both sides of the ipad. Magic Keyboard Negatives- the keybord does not fold all the wayback behind the ipad, to be used as a tablet. It must be removed from the magic keyboard in order to be carried as a tablet. The functionality is more for using as a laptop than a tablet. Both magic and smart keyboard are made of same material on the outside, which attracts oil very easily. Skin is recommended. Smart Keyboard- being a owner of the smart keyboard for my 11” ipad pro, the one thing I enjoy having is the ability to fold the keyboard back behind the ipd, to be used as a tablet.

The best keyboard case there is. Nothing else is like it. I have tried cheaper keyboard cases. I've tried the twist around screen bluetooth from Amazon, even the Logitech Folio Touch. Nothing comes close. The Folio Touch is also a great keyboard case, but the edges by the speakers get loose and floppy and ugly and like a Microsoft Surface it takes up too much room and is impossible to use on your lap. Just buy it.

Expensive, but WAY better than the other apple keyboard I had. It really makes the ipad a great addition/replacement to the macbook on many tasks.

Weighty, fits my iPad like a dream, the profile when closed is thin but is very sturdy when open. Didn’t notice a significant drain on my battery. The keys themselves are not as tactile as I would have liked, but they’re nicer than the normal Apple keys. Love the trackpad feature.

Worth it! I was skeptical because of the pricing but it makes a huge difference. My iPad can do everything my computer can now!
