This is one of the best ways to get the most from your iPad. I recommend getting an overlay to prevent dust and crud from interfering with the functioning of the keys as it is difficult to keep clean even with compressed air.

It works so well when it comes to using my tablet for business the trackpad is super nice as I was worried it wasn't going to work that great since it's a tablet, not a computer but it really does help make the tablet more like a computer.

I have used my new iPad Pro now for several weeks and with the iPad Smart Keyboard and love it. It has so many features that I haven’t even tried yet. The keyboard is quite and only lights while being used, which I find wonderful since it won’t use battery life. I recommend both of these products.
