Still the best option if you are looking for a quality build, easy to use, good battery life, no issues connecting to iPad and overall thinness and weight. Drawback is it is a finger print magnet. You can go cheaper with other cases from Amazon, but they don’t rate at the same level when compared to Apple’s Magic Keyboard.

Makes typing very easy on your iPad. Turns your iPad into a Mac book in seconds. Looks amazing and gives your iPad a sense of protection with its magnetic stick to cover. Keep your iPad functionality even to take pictures. Perfect fit and the feel on the key board is very very ups scale.

I was very surprised at how nice this one is. It is not heavy, but it feels substantial, as if your tablet is quite protected. It is comfortable to use, and it looks very nice.

The Magic Keyboard essentially transforms the iPad into a notebook. Not all functionality is available in the keys and some of the gestures are different, but overall, a nice addition. I do wish that it opened 360 degrees for use as a tablet, but there’s an easy workaround with a sleeve. Since it has a picture of an apple on it, most folks may think it is overpriced. Justify the cost by what it can do you you. Try one in a store; you’ll appreciate it.

I got this for my wife's birthday as a surprise for her. It was hard stomaching the cost of it, but I know that Apple makes good products. My wife has loved it so far. When you attach it to the iPad pro, it automatically syncs up with it, without having to go into any settings like Bluetooth. Like Apple says," it just works." She wishes that it had the function key row, but she's still okay with that. She feels that the keys type very similarly to Apple's laptop keyboards. For reference, she went from having a MacBook Pro to the iPad pro, for which this keyboard is made. An added bonus is the backlit functionality of the keyboard. In case you were wondering, the charge port on the side which is shown in the pictures (USB-C), also charges the iPad when it is connected, in addition to charging the keyboard. In reference to the sturdiness and quality of it, closing down the whole setup on a desktop or table is just like shutting the lid on a MacBook. You'd think by way of gravity that it would just fall shut after a certain angle is passed but it doesn't. Very impressive. If you don't mind the cost and truly appreciate apples, attention paid to detail and quality, I would highly recommend this keyboard setup for the iPad Pro!

I was even more hesitant to buy this keyboard than I was to buy the iPad Pro its self. I highly recommend spending the money if you have it. If you don’t i highly recommend saving your money to get it. To start off it feels like the keyboard unlocks features of the iPad you didn’t know exist. They keyboard is MacBook quality in my opinion which alone would make it worth it. The keys are also backlit, this makes low light usage a non existent problem. On top of that the track pad is smooth, its a bit small but definitely serviceable, it supports gestures available to the MacBook series which provides a far superior level of control for the iPad. We haven’t even gotten to the part that makes the keyboard magic, the magnetic stand. As simple as it might sound, its been a blessing to me. The iPad levitates above keyboard and has a few points of adjustment. It’s really handy if you’re just laying in bed and want to watch some YouTube before knocking out. The only issue i have with the keyboard is the textured finish. It is very prone to picking up smudges and dust, the black finish accentuates this making it an annoying eye soar. Nothing an aftermarket skin can’t fix though.

This design is genius. Very convenient to have the keyboard in place as soon as opening the case, instead of having to attach a keyboard, or configure the base to prop up the tablet. This is especially nice when traveling. Downside: It is expensive

Compared to the Logitech keyboard case. I liked the design of apple’s better but the price tag is absurd. But it’s suppose to be future proof with compatibility with next gen models.

Overall I like the functionality and it is a solid unit and would purchase again. However, it does make it heavy to carry around and it is pricey.

Kind of expensive, a little heavy, but my wife loves it. I purchased it for my wife for her birthday. It's an Apple product, so the price is what it is. That said, the keyboard has a nice feel, and it is very sturdy when using it. That is the advantage of the weight. It doesn't require charging since it uses the iPad's internal battery and it doesn't require setting up a Bluetooth connection, it is literally set and forget. The best part is, now she can have her iPad charging in one port, have a USB SSD in the other and be able to do some serious work (or entertainment) on her iPad.

I was very skeptical in buying a case that was as expensive as it is. I will agree that it is overpriced. However, the quality of this is just incredible. Using it on your laptop was a big selling point for me, and it works as good as a laptop does. The extra port is a great addition, and the keyboard and trackpad are just phenomenal. Great work apple.

Love this Magic Keyboard. Coming off of a windows laptop touchscreen with keyboard I needed to have this keyboard. I love the way it is adjustable and you can plug into the keyboard which also charges the ipad. Typing is super easy also on it. Highly recommend

This keyboard has truly transformed my experience with the iPad Pro. It's compact and offers a wonderfully tactile typing experience. However, it does drain the iPad's battery when attached and not in use. Adding a sleep mode to prevent this would make it flawless.

Love everything about this keyboard, works well on my lap sitting on couch or on bed. I forget that I’m on an iPad, feels like I have a laptop, which for me really works better for what I do.

This is such a cool add on for the iPad. It is so nice to be able to type on a full size keyboard instead of the screen. Also, the track pad works to perfection. Everything is very intuitive. I also LOVE how it has the charging port on it so I can plug my USB interface into the iPad itself when I am recording.
