Convenient most of the time

The keyboard also serves as a hard case for the device. It snaps into place so ready and gets its power from the iPad itself. The only thing against it for me, is that it's not similar enough to the Mac keyboards, it's lacking a few keys that I deemed essential and it also messes up the language within the iPad. All of this makes me almost prefer typing with the devices digital keyboard. Sometimes I have done just that: detach the unit and type straight through the iPad.

I like that it doesn’t need a separate power source, and uses the pass through power of the iPad.

I love the charging mechanism, the way it feels just as natural as a laptop. I wish there was a way it could flip and stay on to make it an actual pad, because you have to remove to not use it for typing.

Better Than Expected

I opt for this setup more than my laptop at this point. If you are on the fence, especially because of the price tag, go for it! You will not be disappointed.
