Apple keyboard had to be returned

I had forgotten to bring my iPad along with me so that was my fault, but I was assured it would fit. It didn't. I had to return the keyboard (by UPS as the return window is so small and I live an hour and a half away from any Best Buy). I still haven't received my refund and that was over a month ago. Grrr! It is a beautiful piece of engineering, but alternatives that work great are out there and I found one online.

Too expensive for an old concept

Its functional but not new. So it shouldn't be as expensive as it is. There is also a redesign needed that allows for more flexibility in your screen angle.

Nice Keyboard but overpriced

It is quality and works well but I went with the Brydge keyboard cases which offer function keys, a backlit keyboard and just more features.

But here are some of the things that bother me about it: ...No place to securely hold the Apple pencil. ...The hinge has one position, cannot push it back farther or adjust closer - this makes it difficult to hold on lap while using, without it falling backwards. A balancing act that makes it very uncomfortable. ...Cannot flip backwards to use as a tablet. Have to completely take it out of case. ...Have to push/click trackpad instead of tapping, and it is loud. ...TYping is LOUD. Cannot use during meeting or lecture without distracting.

Freezes some apps

Holds the 5th generation iPad pro very well and it is lighted. There is one problem I have, the keyboard causes some apps to freeze or just stop working altogether, such as facebook. Removing the iPad from the keyboard corrects the problem. Maybe an update will solve this issue…
