There is no doubt that this keyboard case supplements the latest iPad Pro 12.9 very well. It’s an expensive solution to turn a tablet into a quasi laptop. The screen is held above the keyboard and that saves a lot of footprint for applications like in coach of an airplane. The lighted keyboard is generally good but lacks any function keys you’d expect from a (cheaper) Logitech case. It’s foremost a keyboard and tablet stand. It’s less so a protective case as the side is fully exposed and the (optional) pen is left to the magnetic attachment. That makes the pen a target to lose when sliding into a bag, but also in normal handling. Apple clearly prioritized looks over functionality.

Love this item! It makes my life much easier for faster typing and less fingerprints on the screen. It can turn your ipad into a laptop pretty much. Very convenient!

Overall the magic keyboard was perfect everything about it was perfect.The quality is definitely worth the price and honestly the product was cheap for the price.It has made life so much easier and was able the help me complete multiple college classes.

A must have item for your iPad Pro! It is spendy but. Well worth it the keyboard is very high quality the backlit and the touch bad are all very nice!

I love the typing feel on this keyboard. Very crisp and clicky keys, good travel. It is very sturdy, holds the iPad in place stiffly, definitely high-quality, as expected from Apple. I really like the floating design and that it brings the iPad closer to your face. A couple of things I would like would be the ability to tilt back just a little more, as well as function keys as other keyboards have. However, there are command functions you can use in the place of that once you learn them. Also appreciate the pass-through charging. Overall, a great accessory!

If you have a iPad, this just a no brainer. You need this. We were trying to decide between an iPad and a Mac book. The iPad and Magic Keyboard just was a great fit for college life. This keyboard makes the iPad so much protected and give options as far as note taking and test taking. Would highly recommend.

I have had this about A year love it but the kids have been rough with it it still works but the hung is A little sloppy if you don’t have kids you should be fine

very nice upgrade! basically turns my iPad into a laptop. a little on the pricy side for a Chinese manufactured component, but otherwise a very good buy.

The best keyboard case there is. Nothing else is like it. I have tried cheaper keyboard cases. I've tried the twist around screen bluetooth from Amazon, even the Logitech Folio Touch. Nothing comes close. The Folio Touch is also a great keyboard case, but the edges by the speakers get loose and floppy and ugly and like a Microsoft Surface it takes up too much room and is impossible to use on your lap. Just buy it.

I use my iPad primarily in landscape mode, so this case works really well. It needs a solid surface—it’ll tip over on a bed. Great keys; I want to type on it.

Magic vs Smart Keyboard differences Magic keyboard positives- multiple angles, lighted keyboard, mouse pad (i hardly use, but may just need to get use to it), charging ports on both sides of the ipad. Magic Keyboard Negatives- the keybord does not fold all the wayback behind the ipad, to be used as a tablet. It must be removed from the magic keyboard in order to be carried as a tablet. The functionality is more for using as a laptop than a tablet. Both magic and smart keyboard are made of same material on the outside, which attracts oil very easily. Skin is recommended. Smart Keyboard- being a owner of the smart keyboard for my 11” ipad pro, the one thing I enjoy having is the ability to fold the keyboard back behind the ipd, to be used as a tablet.

Great quality and super strong magnet so that it never falls off.

This combined with the M1 iPad Pro is my new laptop. I also have an M1 MacBook Pro and since this arrived I rarely use the MacBook. I believe this is a little pricey and about $100 less would be a good value. I recently saw it on Best Buy Deal of the Day for $199. Check the App/Site every day!

The keyboard feels very good quality and it powers directly from the iPad so you don’t have to worry about charging it separately which is awesome and it acts as a case and it feels more like a laptop like a MacBook pretty much I recommend it if you like to do alot of online shopping or social media

This keyboard basically turns the iPad into a touchscreen laptop with an excellent trackpad and keyboard. It also protects the iPad when closed.
