Makes the IPad heavier and without a secure protection for the pen will give many instances that the pen will drop or get lost. Other similar style folio keyboard offers a place holder that allows docking and charge to the pen which InhopeApple will make some design change for future keyboard folios.

Great protection for my iPad but also adds capability and flexibility. No instructions include in the box...because they are not needed!! Just put it and the iPad together and things work as expected and as they should. Naturally. Very happy with the purchase.

Great keyboard!

The only drawback is that it doesn’t fold behind the iPad. I ended up buying the Smart Portfolio for situations where I needed to use my iPad in portrait mode and have it protected. I do love the feel of the keyboard and the trackpad though!

I also like that I don’t have to use a separate charging cable for it and the iPad, all I have to do is set my iPad on the plugged in keyboard and my charging needs for both devices are taken care of.
