One of the worst products Apple come up with! Used Apple product always, Love the multi touch functionality of the mouse, but really! is it necessary to make everything flat, thin; so uncomfortable to use; top 10 mints you can use it w/o feeling fatigue. Check the Pic, what I have to do to make it agronomically correct for day-to-day use! The design was off by the thickness of the foam I am sticking on it! Shame on Apple design team for this. Buy it if you have the foam pad I'm using!

I've been using this mouse for 3 months and I wish I could return it, the design is amazing and the battery lasts really long but connectivity is really bad, click latency, and lag all the time. I thought it would be a good match for my Macbook pro M1 but is not, I would recommend getting a 2,4 wireless instead and save you some money.

This mouse works great with all of the macs I have owned. Macbook air, pro, and mini. There’s only one flaw. The charger is in the most ridiculous spot and it’s a lightning charger.

I am not a fan of using the track pad on my laptop. I love the idea that the mouse in not tethered to the computer (one less cord to worry about.). The mouse does not use batteries (another plus.) It does require charging. Keep in mind, the charge holds for a long time. It comes with a charging cable which can be attached to a USB port directly to your computer or using an adapter.

Best Mouse ever If you love Apple Products

Here’s the reality: You’ll love this mouse if you love Apple products. You will enjoy this product if your one of those consumers that want to only use “official products” from whatever company you are purchasing from. This is a gorgeous mouse that will pair with your Apple product right out of the box with such ease that it does feel like “magic.” I love it every time I use it and look at it, gorgeous mouse.
The bad: The charging port is underneath the mouse so you can’t charge and use it at the same time. It hardly matters because you only need to charge it once a month (and that’s with heavy use) but it is odd. The offset to this is that you can charge it for 2 minutes and get a half hour use so it doesn’t really disrupt your work flow.
If you don’t care about Apple products then there’s far better and more functional mouses out there for half the price of this.

I thought the trackpad on my MacBook was all I needed for productivity. However after finally pushing myself to invest in the Magic Mouse 2 I couldn't be happier. The mouse saves me from relying on keyboard shortcuts and using 2 hands to crop and paste text, and photos for the layout of documents I produce weekly. I love that the Magic Mouse 2 works on virtually any surface that it can glide on, and the addition of the long lasting rechargeable battery makes upgrading from the 1st gen Magic Mouse much more worthwhile. The Mouse feels much more sturdy without the removable back and batteries, leading to an overall more premium feel and I have no issue with the Lightning charging port being located on the bottom of the mouse. You honestly won't spend much time recharging the mouse for the charging port to be an issue. Considering the price, I would have liked for Apple to have made the profile of the mouse slimmer, similar to Logitech's ultra slim touch mouse. However nothing compares to white sleek, shiny glass exterior and Apple logo on the Magic Mouse 2. It looks beautiful resting next to my 12" gold MacBook. I would recommend the mouse to anyone using any iteration of MacBook lineup, as it does help to increase productivity. This is an Apple accessory with amazing functionality while remaining simple to use.

If you have used any Apple product in the last few years you know that this mouse will just work. Set up is easy, it's extremely responsive, the mouse feels very high quality, it supports apple gestures, and the battery charges fast and last a good while ( almost a month for me between charges).
That's not to say I don't have some issues with it and I would consider these points before purchasing. The charging port is on the bottom of the mouse, so when you need to charge it you can not use it at all. The mouse is lower profile so it may be hard or uncomfortable to use if you have bigger hands. It is pretty hard to clean under the buttons and sides, and the price tag puts this at the high end for a mouse.
Overall this is a great mouse if you can get around those issues and will be able to enjoy this mouse for years.

I’ve been using this for over a year and a half and I love it! I thought the trackpad was good enough but having the mouse makes everything 10x easier! I do graphic design work for school & work and I’ll never not use a Magic Mouse again. My only complaint is that you can’t charge it while you use it, however, the batter life is so good, it doesn’t ever affect me much anyways.

Using a Macbook Air, I needed a mouse for spreadsheets, and this was the perfect choice. Plugged it in and it synced immediately. It was 95% charged and still haven't charged it after a month. Mouse settings are easily adjusted in System Preferences.

1st used this wireless mouse when we purchased out latest Mac desk top computer, 7 + years ago. Wireless keyboard & wireless mouse. Fell in LOVE with them both. Our mouse exhausted its 1st set of batteries, the store said they could not be replaced. That was WRONG! We replaced them and lived happily until Easter this year (2017). Was in the middle of a project, very late at night so pulled out the old corded mouse. It worked and continued on. After many weeks & months, we have finally gotten around to replacing the much loved and very missed wireless mouse. Our household is a Happy Camper again. We will NEVER be without this mouse again!

Bought this mouse so it would match the Space Grey computer. It’s actually a bit darker than the computer. But it is a nice looking mouse. Too bad it’s $20 more than the white one.
It’s great that it’s rechargeable, but it’s odd that the charging port is on the bottom and therefore you can’t charge it while your Are using it. But I guess that’s the point. It could kill the internal batteries if left charging continuously.
Too bad it could recharge by simply placing it on a Qi charging mouse pad.

You get all the great features of the original Magic Mouse and No More Buying Batteries. I have had mine for 3 weeks , I charged it the day I got it and it still has 78% charge today. I use it for 2-3 hours every day, I was replacing batteries about every other month. I got the re-chargable Magic Keyboard with numeric keypad back in early July and have only recharged it twice the second time was not needed but I recharged it when I got the mouse and it is still at 85% so I am guessing I will probably recharge them both about every 2 months. Beats buying Batteries.

I was not sure at first if this mouse would be worth its price because it was wireless and it is a pain to forget to charge and not be able to use your computer. This mouse seems to hold a charge for a very long time. I try to always turn it off to conserve the battery but I forget sometimes and it still has a good charge even after several days of being left on and not being used. My Mac will tell me how much charge is left so I know when to charge - I have used it 2+ weeks without a charge and still has over half a charge left! I'm impressed!

When I upgraded my desktop to the El Capitan operating system my beloved vertical mouse no longer worked. I had to match Apple to Apple. That meant either this mouse or a track pad.
To my mind, the mouse is easier to operate than the track pad. It's probably the "prettiest" mouse out there - sleek and attractive. I do find that you have to hit the sweet spot for any action to occur. Since there is no obvious "button," this can sometimes be difficult, especially when, for my hand at least, the most comfortable resting position leaves my fingers just shy of the sweet spot. Oh, then there is the fact that the mouse comes in white, or white. I would prefer to have black. But, until Anker figures out how to adopt its vertical mouse so that it can be used with Apple computers loaded with El Capitan, I'll be using this one.

Recently purchased a Magic Mouse 2 for my MacBook Pro, wish I would have purchased this product years ago. I had no idea that this mouse had all the cool functions built inside the mouse. Biggest bonus is no need to have extra double AA or triple AAA batteries with you. It seems that whenever I'm away from home, office or traveling, the mouse batteries needed to be replaced. Highly recommend any Apple user spend the money for this mouse, it is definitely worth the investment!

Love the Apple Magic Mouse 2! I had been using the first magic mouse and was happy with it but was forced to buy a new mouse when I forgot to bring my mouse back for a new semester of college. I'm glad I bought the upgrade. The battery life on this is amazing! I use it for hours a day and after over a month the battery level is still at 50%. Also love how responsive it is and how they replaced the batteries with thunderbolt charging. Well worth the upgrade!

I have used magic mouse with my Apple desktop and MacBook. The one I had was several years old and from time to time disconnected. So I figured it was time for another.
When I ordered this one, I did not realize that it was a new and improved version. This Magic Mouse 2 needs no batteries; it charges via a lightning cable plugged into my MacBook. Almost instantly, I realized this mouse was more responsive and faster. So glad to have found it.

I am a long-time Mac User but never have used the Mac mouse until now. I'm used to using the trackpad but this is a really nice addition when you really need to click and drag. Can't really compare to other Mouse products because I haven't used them in quite a few years and I'm sure there is new and improved versions. This one seems to work well and I can't really think of anything negative about it other than the price.
