      It takes around 5-10 seconds before it will connect to the MacBook Pro. It takes a little practice to get used to how it works. But, so far I like it.

      I have multiple Apple products; would rank them highly, recommend them to others and enjoy using them. However the Magic Mouse is very low/slim in design and does not feel as comfortable in the hand as other mouses. Con: have a brand new MacPro and had to buy a separate cable to charge and use the Magic Mouse. Returned it and found a Logitech wireless mouse that paired quickly with my Mac, feels & manuevers better and works great for less.
