I love the compatibility with my MacBook Pro. Great battery life. Ive only charged it once, I've had it for 3 months and I'm still on 60% the only down fall is that I have long hands and the mouse is very sleek. But you just have to adapt

This is the first rechargeable mouse I am aware of and I was sick and tired of having to pay for AA batteries and having to replace them once a month. This Magic Mouse 2 is more responsive than the Magic Mouse that I was previously using.

This mouse works great and looks great. If you're trying to achieve a clean, classy look on your desk, you can't go wrong with this.
The battery life is great - I rarely have to charge it, and I'm a heavy computer user. Charging can be a pain though because of the placement of the lightning port - it's on the bottom. That means you can't use this mouse while it's charging.
The gestures are a bit sensitive when it comes to swiping left and right. I use the gestures to go forward and backward a lot when browsing the web, and I find myself accidentally swiping when I mean to scroll.

It’s great! It works just like the Magic Mouse 1 but rechargeable. Glad that they’ve upgraded to recharging option. As all Apple products are, it’s too expensive. $50 is plenty and I’m sure they still make a great profit margin - but alas, it’s Apple.
I use it with the M1 MacBook and it works great. Haven’t tried with my iPad Pro. Not sure of the compatibility but I am sure that info on whether or not it works with it is available somewhere.
Charge lasts for a very long time. Seamless and flawless operation.
4 stars for a great mouse - that’s too expensive.

The mouse is physically very nice. It's thin and looks fancy and good material. I like that you can go back a page just by swiping the mouse. However I don't like that the price is too high and that it does not move smooth on the desk when using it to navigate

bought it for my wife and she loves it. The way it feels on her hand, the ease of use and the way it responds. Just a little pricey but is apple and you know how it is, just hope it last for a long time.

The Magic Mouse 2 works great on my MacBook Air. The pairing process is super easy and the connection stays strong without any interruption. The battery lasts a very long time. So far I've used it about 10 times, in 2+ hour increments, and the battery loses maybe 1 or 2 percent in each session. The finger gestures are awesome since they're the same as the gestures on the MacBook's trackpad.
This Apple brand mouse works flawlessly with Apple computer's. I kept that in mind when I bought an external mouse especially since cheaper mouse's (or mice for the grammar police) can result in poor connectivity & poor results. In addition other brand mice won't have the unique gestures that Apple has with its products.

The Mouse is a bit pricey, but it's made by Apple - so that should go without saying. I didn't think I would go one way or another with this mouse. I just thought it would go nice with my Macbook Pro. But I was happily surprised with its quality and easy of setup and use. It's very accurate and there are some cool things you can do on this mouse that you can't with others. I used to have a Microsoft Mouse which was there best one but it would make some weird noise when you scroll to let you know you were scrolling. This one doesn't and it's super smooth. You can also swipe left, right, up, and down for different functions. This comes in handy, especially with browsing on the internet. Overall, it's a good product and worth getting if you have an apple computer.

I liked my Magic Mouse, especially when using it with Magic Preferences, but I was tired of replacing the batteries and went to Best Buy looking for a replacement. The sales person told me about the new Magic Mouse 2, which has a battery built-in and is rechargeable with a USB lightning cable, so I bought it. It charges quite fast and doesn't need it too often. it works great, although you need OSX 10.11 El Capitan or later to take advantage of all its features: left & right Click, Scroll up, down left, and right, Zoom, Swipe between pages, full-screen apps & double tap for Mission Control -- not as many as with Magic preferences which does not work with this new product, but more than enough for me. Only drawback was the cost, but sure beats buying batteries!

What I really liked about the Apple mouse is how it has ”gesture” clicks in addition to the usual right and left clicks. Its Bluetooth connectivity and response is great. The only weird thing is how the charging port is on the bottom so you can’t use it while charging. On the other hand, the charge lasts for weeks and it recharges very quickly so it doesn’t end being a big deal. A bit expensive for a mouse, though.

I purchased this for my daughter for use with her MacBook Pro.
I use the original with batteries but this rechargeable is so much better. It’s very smooth, light and enjoyable to use. Programming is easy and makes this a very versatile addition to any Apple computer.
My daughter uses it for playing games and loves the ease of use and response. If my original ever dies I will replace it with this.

I know the young people are all into just sliding their finger around the pad on the computer, but for us old people (over 30) the mouse is the way to go. And there is no better mouse than the Apple Magic Mouse. I had my last one for 7 years and it went bad only because I let some batteries leak inside. Now with the permanent rechargeable batteries, I don't even have to worry about that. Accurate, smooth, easy to use, that's the Magic Mouse in a nutshell.

Much smoother and more accurate than using the MacBook Pro's touchpad. Very ergonomic and stylistically matches with everything Apple. Can't really ask for more or expect more from a mouse. Just wish the price was a little lower. Maybe at $49.99 I would have given it 5 stars.

I love the how responsive this mouse is. Its easy to use and has a touch responsive click wheel functionality when scrolling on a mac. My favorite feature is recharging the device and not replacing batteries. The battery span on both the new magic keyboard and mouse run like I just opened it for the first time every time!! Definitely recommend this for any apple user!!

This mouse can be very accurate, the only downside to it is the charging port which does not allow for use of the mouse in case you need to charge it at the same time. As it sits underneath the mouse you must at least charge it for a few hours before being able to use.

What the heck took Apple so long?!
I love my Apple Magic Mice. For about two years I used the Mobee Magic Charger - it was hit-and-miss, and most of the time I'd forget that I hadn't charged the mouse (or that my computer was OFF rather than sleeping) and I'd be SOL or stuck using the trackpad on a mounted laptop... or trying to remember how to remove the darn battery from my mouse and then try to find some AA batteries...
No more. One charge and so far... about three weeks have gone by with daily use (4-8hrs) without needing to recharge. It seems more sensitive than the previous versions, easily fixable my turning down your mouse speed.
