It's the best mouse I have found.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am always open to trying new products, but for some reason or other, I am always most pleased with Apple. Being a graphic designer, I need to feel accuracy and have features that make my work easier. The only problem I have with this mouse (besides the cost), is that the charging port is at the bottom of the mouse. I have to remember to charge it. Fair is fair, and I must admit the charge lasts a very long time. For me, I like the way it feels and how it functions. By the way, it looks more fragile than it is. I liked the original Magic Mouse also, but felt that not needing batteries was a plus. Just charge it overnight.

Works Well/Great Design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paired with my Mac very easily. Great design. Very light. Easy to use. Scrolling takes some getting used to, but one you get used to the different design, it's better than other mouse options.

Its an Apple product.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a mouse. Its from Apple. It works well with Macs. Scrolling is easy and smooth. The only negative is that when its finally time to charge the battery, you plug a lightning cable into the bottom and have to put the mouse on its side - it looks ridiculous. Also, I don't understand why the black one is so much more expensive than the white.

Bluetooth Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My favorite feature of this mouse is that it works via Bluetooth. It will not take up one of the USB ports on your Mac. It is also rechargeable and lasts days between charges.

Smooth and Accurate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After trying other wireless and blue tooth mice from Logitech and Microsoft and not being happy with the way they worked on my Mac (even though they are fine on my PC) I decided to try the Magic Mouse 2. I'm very pleased with not only the smoothness of the mouse, but also the accuracy even at max pointer speed. Recharging is quick and pairing with the Mac was almost instantaneous. Works great with El Capitan. A bit pricey - but a really nice mouse.

The Perfect Accessory for my iPad or MacBook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using mice since the advent of the mouse accessory for computers way back when. I’ve tried them all, name brands such as Logitech or Microsoft, store or generic brands such as Best Buy’s own Insignia, ones that come with desktops such as Dell, etc. Big mice, compact ones, gaming ones. They all have their pros and cons. I would have to say that this is one of the best mice I’ve ever used. First of all, I love that it’s wireless but I don’t have to worry about replacing batteries. It pairs via Bluetooth effortlessly. (No little USB piece to insert in the computer.) I really like its low profile and how smoothly it moves, both on the screen and across my mousepad. Best of all, I love the touch feature at the top where more traditional mice have the divided two clickable “left and right” buttons with the scroll wheel in the middle. I like that instead of those buttons and click wheel it’s just one smooth surface with touch features and one simplified click mechanism.

Great!! No more batteries.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the new mouse. It's sensitivity takes a little getting use to but the fact that you don't have to change batteries every other day makes the purchase of this Apple Magic Mouse II a must.

Nice Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For me this is a mandatory necessity. I'm not a lifelong mac user and i don't do well with the mac gesturing used on the touch pad. as a matter of fact just trying to cut and paste without a mouse was a pain in the rear requiring a multiple key combination. Save yourself the head ache and buy a mouse, this one is premium and integrates exceptionally well with the mac. No dongle needed. As with most apple products it does what its designed to do well and has exceptional build quality. Battery life has proved to be excellent and it seems to work fine on almost any surface, table, couch arm, pants leg, doesn't seem to matter.

A very magical mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You scroll just by dragging your finger across the top of the mouse like a Tablet so it has lots of features that makes your job easier. Holds charge for a long time. I recommend big time.

Magically Rechargable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just like the previous Magic Mouse, it has all of the multi-touch gestures but the thing I love most is that it is Rechargable through a Lightning Cable. One might say that a draw back to the way it charges is that you can't use it while charging. I bought this mouse a few months ago and still haven't needed to charge it after the initial charge. When it comes time, I'll charge it overnight and not worry about it for another month or two.

A must-have for a MacBook!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a small hand and this mouse fits it wonderfully without causing discomfort when using it for several hours. It’s very responsive and an overnight charge is good for a couple of days for my needs. I love the same slim profile so common in things of quality from my favorite tech designer, Apple. It’s worth the higher price compared to any other mouse.

Great mouse (bought refurbished)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work solely on a laptop and my right hand was starting to hurt from using the trackpad for scrolling. I bought the refurbished mouse to ease the pain and it's been helping. You would never know this mouse was refurbished. It's smooth and it holds its charge. I've used it for normal work functions and have not had to recharge it yet (going on about 4 weeks of use).

Excellent mouse despite one glaring design flaw.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this mouse, this is my second Magic Mouse 2. I purchased this one as an upgrade for my office setup. The main reason I stick with the Apple Magic Mouse is the gesture support. It is so nice and seamless going from my MacBook Pro touchpad to my desktop setup. Build quality is excellent, and it just looks so darn good on a desk. Works on nearly any surface I've tried it on. I use a black leather mousepad at my office, and directly on a gloss white desk at home. Works great on both. Other mice I've used have had problems on the gloss white surface of my desk at home, but not this one. But yes... there is one HUGE design flaw. You cannot use the mouse while it's charging. The lightning port for charging the mouse is on the bottom. So it cannot be used while charging. Fortunately, battery life is great so you don't have to charge it often, and it charges quickly. So I can overlook this one flaw for all the other great features it has.

Smooth mouse, not a smooth price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though I only payed $59.99 for it (thank you reward zone certificate), it's still a bit pricey (then again, it's a Apple device, so it should be expected). It's still a wonderful Bluetooth mouse and I'm glad I purchased it. If it wasn't for the price, I would easily give it 5 stars.

Beats a Track Pad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Switching to a Mac Book from a PC desk top required a longtime PC user to adapt to something new. I quickly found that using the track pad was holding me back in the change over. I thought the Apple mouse was overpriced for a mouse and held off on the purchase. However Father's Day rolled around and I found myself with one. It took a little while to get used to the shape and configuration but I found that it is well worth the price.

Nice to Have in Addition to Trackpad
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had gotten used to only using the trackpad on my MacBook Air, but decided to give a Magic Mouse a try. Although I had mostly used a two-button mouse before with other laptops, it was pretty easy getting used to the Magic Mouse. I really like not having to replace batteries; just plug a lightning cable in and it charges, then off and running again!

Great mouse but be aware of the nuances.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The original Magic Mouse I had was destroyed after being frustrated with it staying connected to my computer, the bottom plate constantly falling off and it overally being too touchy. At least I could replace the batteries. The mouse itself works great. I use it heavily and I find I need to charge it maybe every 6 weeks. Over time, the non-replaceable battery will not last that long so for $80+, that can be a valid gripe. The other issue is that the surface supports Apple's Gestures to an extend, which sometimes causes me some problems as I often will have fingers on the click-area surface that invoke gesture-functions. This comes from ages of using Apple's older 1-button mouse(think the ADB ones back from 1986 and beyond!) and traditional 2-button PC mice. These days, the addition of a scroll wheel is a nice addition. This mouse supports those scrolling functions too. Honestly, quality and construction is a 5. Ideally weighted and balanced, great action across a mousepad(don't use it on a table, get a mouse pad, seriously!). The mouse performs wonderfully, it's just not an ideal mouse for myself since I'm constantly getting strange things because I don't move my fingers OFF the "click" area. Because of this issue, I'd rather rate the mouse 4.75 stars rather than bump down to a 4. I also have issues using a lot of the gestures functionality. That's something that take getting used to. It is worth the effort. I'm just very much preferential to 2 buttun mouse with scroll wheel. Also, this works just fine on Windows 7 through Windows 11 and Mac OSX Lion to current, but really does best with Mavericks and beyond due to Gestures support.
