A lot of people dislike this mouse because the charge port is on the bottom, which renders the device useless when charging. I, however, do not mind because I have a laptop and not a desktop. The charge holds for considerable time as well. I've only charged it once and that was over a month ago. Great for laptop users, not so much for those with a desktop.

I really liked my original magic mouse but as anyone knows it literally eats batteries. The II not only is re-chargable, it lasts a really long time. I didn't have to change it the first time for weeks from when I bought it. Subsequent charges are not as fast and don't last that long, but it is still great. That is considering I often don't turn it off at all.

Overall great mouse, nice design easy to use. However, sometimes it couldn't connect to my MacBook Pro, and I need to use wire to get connect again.

Needed another mouse for 2nd mac, & wanted to get rid of wired mouse. Not much different than Magic Mouse 1, but the color, & it’s RECHARGEABLE! Gotta love that!!! Love this thing. I’ve got lots of mice laying around the house, but won’t give up my Magic Mouse! Yes it’s a bit more expensive, but for me, well worth it.

Great mouse for the MacBook Pro. It fits perfectly in the palm of the hand and if you follow the directions can do some pretty cool things to make it easier to navigate your screen, I just wish the space grey had been in stock since thats the laptop color I have

Wanted a mouse to use with my MacBook - The Apple Magic Mouse 2 is ergonomic, fits my hand perfectly, and looks great when not in use.

This mouse feels a little heavier than the original but feel it is better made and not having to replace batteries all the time is a diffident plus.

What could make a great Apple product even better? How about never having to replace the batteries!? Well, I guess, eventually you may have to, but not for a long time. We plugged the included USB into our Mac Pro, paired right up, and charges. If I had one wish, it would be that you could use the mouse while it's plugged in and charging, which you cannot.

I needed a mouse for my MacBook Pro. Deciding to go with the Magic Mouse and it’s smooth transition and long battery life is great.

I don't need to replace the batteries anymore. The new mouse has a internal rechargeable battery that lasts at least a couple of days. Got the keyboard too. Now I don't have to worry about batteries leaking. Charges fast. Only problem is the charging port on the mouse is on the bottom. You have to put it on the side to recharge.

I like the touch and feel about the mouse mostly, because it's rechargeable, only problem is that you cannot use the mouse while it's re-charging.

Great mouse for Mac users - much better experience than your standard mouse. My only gripe is the location of the charging port being on the bottom side of the mouse. This makes it so the mouse cannot be used while charging, which is inconvenient. However, the upside is that I've been using this mouse for the better part of a year, and I've only had to charge it twice. Not bad. I would recommend this product to any one who uses a Macbook.

this is my second "DJ" Magic Mouse. Wonderful accessory to any Macbook. battery lasts FOREVER! i only charge it every couple weeks.

I read reviews from this board, apple's, all over. Everyone complaining about where you plug in the wire to charge this mouse. YES, it is a bit awkward at first. You literally plug in, perpendicular to the bottom of the unit. This causes the unit to not lay flat while charging. "I can't use my mouse while charging!" Ummm, you're not supposed to use anything while it's charging, period... get over it. "There are other mice that allow you to use it while charging... and they're $40 cheaper!" OMG go buy one, quick. I'll stick with my magic mouse. My mouse kinda props up like a picture frame on a desk displaying it's beautiful elegance while it charges it's super long lasting battery. Do I care I can't use the mouse for the couple hours while it charges? No. The mouse is not supposed to be the best mouse on the market... while it's charging. How does it perform while it's on, being used? It's perfect. Smooth, perfect tracking,. Clicks are "ergonomically correct". Have been using it for a couple of months and have never lost connection once. I use it for 10-12 hours daily. What do I do while it's charging? Sleep, eat, play with my son, read a good book, take a walk, exercise.... not in that order. I can survive with Apple's odd decision to put the port on the bottom of the unit.

I have had a iMac for 7 years now and mine did not come with rechargeable batteries. That's what this buys you and while you cannot recharge it while you use it, you can recharge it in a couple of hours while you are not. It's a great mouse and no more buying batteries every month.

Awesome mouse, connects quick and works fantastic. Battery life is great as well, lasts a long time until you need to charge again.

very happy with it my wife is loving it. lot's of freedom with out wires we are going back to buy her the wireless keyboard today.

I really enjoy this mouse when I'm browsing on my Mac. It has multiple gestures that you can utilize that similarly mimic the trackpad gestures. The set-up and connection is super easy. It also comes with a black USB-A to Lightning cable. As for the cons, it is kinda pricey for a mouse and after a while I find myself wanting to use the trackpad again. It just isn't so ergonomic compared to other mice on the market.

Just what I was looking for!!! It does exactly what it is expected to do. Really like that it is rechargeable. May buy another for other devices.

The mouse glides smoothly without a hitch. This is the best performing mouse that I have ever used! The Apple mouses are the best!
