    Best mouse I have owned

I have purchased several different wireless mouses over the years. This is by far my favorite. It is very easy to connect, works well with my Mac, has excellent touch features, and the battery last a while. Only minor gripe is the charging port is in on the bottom which seems an odd choice. Not a major deal though.

Apple mouse beware of open box

This apple mouse is great. At first when I received one I bought open box through the mail I couldn’t get it to work. Then I realized it was wireless and rechargeable except when I looked for where to plug wire into it I found a battery compartment. I opened it and it was totally gross!!! Filthy and also crusted with acid stuff from batteries gone bad. Apple puts serial numbers on everything so I looked at that and the model number since it had batteries. Someone must have purchased the new version and returned their filthy used old version in the new box. There’s really some big .. out there. So please everyone steer clear of open box’s. Thank goodness Best Buy was wonderful and exchanged it for a new one no problem. The new one is so much nicer to use on my iPad.

Got this for my son's Apple Air....We have the same one! It is so easy to set up, rarely loses connection & is ergonomically very comfortable! The small, flat size makes it easy to transport with the Air or the Macbook Pro! J Gibson

I really like the clean lines of this mouse. It connects easily and holds a charge for a long time. But the charging port is on the bottom of the mouse so you can't use it while charging. Also it is very expensive for a mouse. But this is what you would expect from the Apple world. Functionality wise it works as expected. I love gestures in Apple and while the mouse does not support all that the trackpad does the ones that are supported work well.

A Welcome Experience to my MacBook Pro

This is really a cool piece of tech. I can see why the price is what it is. It isn't like your typical mouse - it offers more to the Mac/MacBook user. While you can click and everything as you typically would, you can also use this with gestures as you would the touchpad. I find that this has made my experience on my MacBook Pro (M1) an even better experience. I only wish you could touch to click (I have read that you can implement this by using 3rd party software). Note on the battery, I have yet to charge it since acquiring about three weeks ago. In fact, it has only used about 20% of its charge in this time frame. My usage is about 1-3 hours per day (turning it off while not in use). I would buy it again without hesitation.

As with all Apple products, it is cool and works great. It does not need a dongle. It just needs charging and comes with the lightning charger needed. You can charge it with AC or with your MacBook no prob. It connects easily.

Nice mouse for media work or consumption. It looks and feel nice. Very intuitive. The quality is great and the battery last forever. Downside, when charging, you cannot use it and not good for office work. You wrist will suffer.

Apple mice keep getting better with each new version. I waited a while before upgrading from the first version of the magic mouse, fearing I would have to recharge it all the time. But, it holds a charge for weeks and is smoother and more sensitive and then the previous version.

I purchased as a like-new open box and it was on sale. The open box Magic Mouse 2 works like new. I also included the Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad (open box/sale) with this order. Both silver. I made the decision to not pay the Apple Space Grey color "tax" (I have the silver MacBook Pro so it was a no brainer). No problems to date. The rechargeable battery has been lasting well over 3 weeks with daily use. I like the gesturing the mouse allows. My main reason for getting a mouse with my laptop was to use it when I'm connected to my thunderbolt 3 monitor with my MacBook Pro in clamshell mode. I also like to use the mouse in situations where a trackpad is limiting. I like that all my peripherals match and are the same brand. Though the Magic Mouse 2 is not engineered like your average mouse I find it to be a great solution. I have no gripes to date. The mouse works like magic!

I wasn't sure this was going to be a good purchase because of the size of the mouse and other reviews I read, but after using it for about a month, my mouse works really good. It is comfortable to use and easy to right/left click even there are no buttons here. Scrolling is just as easy as doing it on my computer's trackpad and it glides just fine across my two monitors (some times three if I am using my Notebook's screen too). Battery wise, it works great. I have only plug once during the month I've been using it, and it was only to make sure I wasn't going to ran out of juice while working. But two weeks after I charged it and it still has about 66% charge. Just make sure you click on the Bluetooth icon and it will let you know how much battery there is.

I'm so glad I upgraded from my old magic mouse that operated on batteries! I was changing batteries once per month and couldn't believe how much money I spent on batteries not to mention the pain to recycle them. The new magic mouse is more responsive and holds a charge for as long as the batteries did.

I bought this mouse over two months ago and use daily. I only have had to recharge it once.. It is just like any other Apple accessory (easy to use and seamless connectivity). I used this one to replace the older magic mouse and the fact that I do not have to worry about batteries is a huge plus. GREAT product!
