I got home, went to try it out, and found that I would have to upgrade from Yosemite to the current OS in oreder for it to work. As I have a bunch of programs that just work with Yosemite I had to return the mouse. I'm sure it was a cool mouse, just not for me.

No magic. Took it back and replaced it - same thing happened again! I have a new Mac, no issues, and have researched this for days! And I am not technology inept.. I just don't know why my mac and the mouse won't get along. The magic just wasn't in my house this month.
