So please that I decided to spend the extra money on a wireless mouse. It was so simple to set up and use. Nice smooth enclosed finish with nothing to get clogged up with dust or debris like my old mouse did. It also stays charged for a long period of time.

Love this mouse! So much better than the small pad on your laptop that leaves your fingers cramped. Battery last long as well!

    Great Mouse!

I don't usually come back to a site to write a review but I felt compelled in this case. Glad I made the purchase. Some reviews left me unsure of buying one but glad I tried it out and I love it. I have a MacBook Pro and it connected within seconds of turning it on. The charging port is on the bottom of the mouse, but who cares. I been using it daily for at least 3 weeks and the charge is now at 88%. It charges quickly so no big deal. Love the features that are exclusive to Apple (double tap to Mission Control, swipe capabilities, etc.) I use Finale for music notation and it works great. Occasionally feel some fatigue in my wrist and right finger, but isn't that true of any mouse after a long period of use. Just take a break. The only reason I withhold the 5 star rating is due to the lack of independent settings for the mouse and trackpad. When you change the trackpad settings, the mouse settings are changed and vice versa. But again, no big deal Highly recommend this mouse.

    Takes Some Time!

I finally caved in and bought a mouse. The trackpad on my MacBook Pro was enough, but it got bothersome when it came to specifically placing the cursor where I needed it. I've always used regular mouses with the two-sided buttons on top, so I'll definitely have to get used to Apple's design with this one! I will say it's definitely very pricy for a mouse, but it's Apple, so it's going to be expensive. It has a nice weight to it; doesn't feel cheap, which is nice. It's a nice investment, considering it's rechargeable and made of good quality! The charging port could've been designed for somewhere other than the bottom, but it's something I can live with.

    Works great

Works just like the original Magic Mouse. I like that I don't have to change batteries. Just plug it in to charge. I've had it one week. It came almost fully charged at 95%. I turned it off when I wasn't using it the first couple of days, but have since forgotten. After one week of all day use, every day (8+ hours every day), the charge is only down to 60%. Since I used the original Magic Mouse for 5 years, it was a breeze going to the one. It's the exact same thing, but a little lighter.

It's a great mouse, just not for me...

Let me start off by saying my previous Mac was a MacBook Air. Before that, I had only ever owned laptop PC's. So as you can imagine, I'm pretty accustomed to trackpads. That being said, I gave the Magic Mouse 2 four (4) stars as my personal rating. Not because I'm biased of trackpads, but because I did find the mouse to be a bit clumsy at times, specifically in terms of sensitivity. For example, when resting my palm on the mouse, if my hand were to shift a little, the mouse would sometimes register that as a touch and move the cursor right before trying to click on something. Yes, I know you can adjust the sensitivity, but I figured I would just return the mouse and get the Magic Trackpad 2. I absolutely love the look and feel of the trackpad, but I don't want to get too much into that here, I'll leave a separate review on that product page. As for the Magic Mouse itself, I would say it's still a great product! There are so many functions and tricks you can do with touch portion of the mouse, like scrolling up and down, or between pages, using Mission Control, zooming, etc. And there's just something so satisfying about that crisp little "click" sound when clicking. I can't really comment on the battery life, seeing as how I only had the mouse for a week, before exchanging it. From other reviews I've seen, it's a super easy transition from the first generation Magic Mouse and battery life is a lot better. Overall, it's a very nice mouse, it just wasn't my preferred peripheral.

Works just like trackpad on MacBook Pro

Very stylish mouse and has same functions as my macbook pro. I love that it is rechargeable as opposed to requiring a AA battery like other wireless mouses. I also really like that it connects via bluetooth so it does not take up another USB port. A bit more on the expensive side but definitely worth it.

So I was the brave one again to buy a Apple Accessorie with all intcipation that it will not work and just sit around the house, I have a Apple Wireless Keyboard and Apple Magic Mouse 2 they both work with my MSI XPower AC Motherboard Bluetooth. So Far both of those apple products work for me!! Only thing is the Magic Mouse 2 Scroll gesture not working so I'll have to wait on a 3RD driver for that. Again Windows 10 Not sure about later Windows

This is by far the best mouse ever created. Don't let the price discourage you. The gestures make working with it a breeze. The battery life is excellent. The charge time is minimal. It works with our laptops, desktops, and Android Tablets.

It really works great because you don't need to replace the battery of it often times. You just need to charge it when needed. No need to worry about dangling cable from it that disturb you much and makes your work limited. I Love it very much coz it's perfect for my work application.

    Sleek design, rechargeable, nifty

Everything about the mouse is great. You can do all track pad gestures. Some differences, but easily learned. The rechargeable mouse with the lightning cable is great. No need to replace batteries anymore. The shiny thin/sleek look is great. I love the track pad and gestures, but now i need the mouse. The only thing i would say that it needs improvement, and this is only for men/women with large hands, is the it would be made a bit thicker so that you can rest the palm of your hand. Right now i arch my hand so that my fingers grip the mouse and drag. As oppose to sit my hand and move the mouse with my arm movement. Great mouse though

    Not bad

I wanted a mouse to use with my MacBook Pro for the times that I wanted to do a lot of word editing and not always use the trackpad. I had a logitech wireless mouse that I used on my old PC laptop and attempted to use it with the MacBook, but it was terrible. Had been looking into the magic mouse for some time and decided to just pick one up. Connecting it was pretty much flawless. Turned the MacBook on and then turned the mouse on, paired instantly. Gestures are smooth also. The only complaint that I have is that sometimes the mouse doesn't scroll. It's only happened a few times while looking through a word document, and I'm not sure if it's an actual con or maybe I'm just got putting enough pressure for it to pick up to scroll up/down. But overall it's pretty solid and has great battery life.

as long as you are using this mouse including many smart features, you will not regret using this. Make sure to get BTT to better get use of it, or you will be just like using iphone just for calling.
