but a hefty price. This is going to sound like a negative review but it isn't. Honestly I don't know if I would've purchased the item without using MyReward certificates. I've found myself not using it as much as I thought I would. I've also noticed that if I don't turn the mouse on before logging into my macbook air then I have to get the lightning cable and out and connect it via USB before I am able to use the mouse. That said it does fit comfortably in my hand and is nicely designed. The battery life on the item is nice but that could be a by product of me not using the mouse very much.

It's a bit pricy but it's worth it to use and design and functions are really cool

I have a Mac laptop and the scroll pad is difficult to use. I am working towards my masters and decided to buy the magic mouse. It works great! It connects easily to the Mac with just connecting the USB cord to your computer and it automatically connects through bluetooth. The off button is easy to access. So far I like this product and am glad I bought it!

I had the old Magic Mouse and eventually I needed to replace it. I got the new Magic Mouse because I saw all the positive reviews. The Magic Mouse 2 is worth it because it is much smoother on your desk because they redesigned the feet of the mouse. Also it's quite a bit lighter and much more convenient not needing to find batteries. Overall I say it was a very nice upgrade.

This is a sleek design for normal use. The rechargeable battery is a great addition and last for at-least 3 weeks on a single charge.

I love the new color option. It works just like the old Apple Magic Mouse but it has a rechargeable battery. That was sooooo needed. I hated replacing AA batteries all the time. So great job Apple on this one and the icing on the cake?????? It comes with an Apple Official*** BLACK LIGHTNING CABLE!!!!! MIND BLOWN!!!

The Apple Magic Mouse 2 is an amazing addition to my computer. The setup via Bluetooth is fast and easy. Charging is a quick and convenient, even though, battery life is Iong-lasting. The most important figure is the configurable shortcuts that make it just as effective as the trackpad. This is awesome.

It's a mouse, so if you need one, you won't be disappointed. It's Apple, so it definitely looks great next to an Apple computer. Setup is a snap, connectivity is good & battery life is excellent. My only knocks are that the charging port is on the bottom, so it has to stand sideways to charge & the price tag is on the steeper side, but you're accustomed to this if your invested into the Apple ecosystem.

IMO, the mouse is the same as the previous generation. The main difference is that it is now rechargeable through a lightning cable. Yay...no more having to change out double AA batteries. The only downside to the mouse is that the lightning port to recharge the battery is at the bottom of the mouse. Therefore, you cant use the mouse while it is charging. Other than that, the mouse more is great. No other issues to report.

My significant other purchased this for use with his MacBook Air to make his business and school work easier. It is very responsive on almost all surfaces (we've tried it out on several different surfaces, including soft surfaces). Definitely worth the money.

Purchased the latest Apple Mac Book Pro model along with the Magic Mouse 2. The mouse has many features and works great. I've charged it once and it lasts forever on a single charge!!!! Best Buy staff very informative and helpful...

Out of the box this mouse paired up smoothly with my MacBook Air and is working perfectly. The reason for purchase was I was curious about the product and wanted to see how it works with other Apple products I have (which I have yet to test) and with all the reading and stuff i need to do for school I wanted to see if I liked the feel better than scrolling with the trackpad and I must say I am way impressed with the feel and responsiveness of this magic mouse! I like doing the air play to Apple tv and being able to scroll through emails and things I need to read and am excited to see how it works with doing my school work. It was a spontaneous purchase and just trying to see what it is all about. So far so good and I am way impressed with this spontaneous purchase and works very well!

Rechargeable is a good feature however the physical styling has a sharp uncomfortable edge around the grip area. Tracking on the surface I typically use was erratic resulting in the cursor moving unpredictable. I ended up going back to my Logitech Performance MX which is bulkier however has perfect response and is fully compatible with MacBook Air.

great sharp looking and amazing product - but dang you'd think that if they bundled this together they could at least take $10 off the price - i would also prefer a black keyboard without the number pad. thanks apple

Compatible with Apple products but very uncomfortable after prolonged use

Improvement over the former Magic Mouse (rechargeable battery). After pairing it with a device, you may have to restart that device, but after that it's beautiful.

This is the coolest, cleanest mouse out there. So much so that when they updated it, they didn't even change the design! It's comfortable but your palm might cramp if it's an all day thing. Touch controls are the same as on the MacBook series track pad.

Looks good, feels good, holds charge for a long time, and works even at a distance with arm fully extended (which is why I got it - injured tendon). Love it!
