The most important difference will be on....What will you use it for? Is it good for gaming?...probably not, as it is heavier than most mice. Is it good for normal computer use (macOS)? Yes, it pairs well with Apple computers and the scrolling (horizontally and vertically) is excellent as you don't have to deal with "mechanical" scroll. There are other gestures that can be helpful and but those depend on whether you want to enable them or not. Is it good for normal computer use (windows/others)? Possibly yes, the normal functions of a mouse will work just fine, but don't expect the same gestures you can get in MacOS since Windows would be the one to determine what it will let the mouse do or not do. Battery life is good, but if you use it like crazy don't expect to have superb battery life, normal use will last you a couple of months. Do consider that you CANNOT use the mouse while it is charging, so plan accordingly.

Nice mouse. I’m still getting used to scroll feature. I used the last Apple mouse for 10 years so it takes some adjustment. I do like that it charges quickly and has the same sleek look and feel.

I am someone who cannot use just the track pad on my macbook pro. My older mouse was not compatible with the new M2 computer. This mouse is just what I needed and is light weight in my hand. I would love to have gotten space gray instead of white but the extra 20 dollars didnt seem worth it for my budget. The white is just fine.

Works good! Only downside is that Apple decided to put the USB-C charging entrance in the bottom of the mouse but works well over all!

Purchased just shy of a month ago. I use it every day for hours and I've only had to charge it twice. It's crazy how long the charge lasts on this mouse! I was VERY hesitant to spend so much on a mouse but am so happy I did. Was definitely worth it! It has also made the transition from windows laptops to a Mac MUCH easier.

The Apple Magic Mouse operates virtually flawlessly but has one design flaw. The shape of the mouse follows the strict design language of Apple products but is not optimally ergonomic in your hand. You have to move your index finger to an extreme position to highlight items or move around a document otherwise it pops up the control menu. Functionally great. Design-wise meh.

Bought along with my new MacBook Pro and is much nicer than the original I have with my old MacBook Bro. The built-in battery is much nicer than having to change AA Batteries all the time. When it gets low you just plug it into a Apple Lightning Cable.

This mouse is slick and light and works great with my new MacBook.
