I was going to go with another MS mouse, but decided since I was considering upgrading my macbook air next year to go ahead and get this. Hooked up nicely, but I did noticed today that the scrolling effect stopped. I had to turn it off and then back on and if works now. Will keep an eye on this otherwise is works great!

Great for certain things, not for video editors!

Simply because it’s Apple and instantly works well, the mouse size is always an issue for me. I spend a lot of time editing so for my hand to be squeezed up all day it’s just uncomfortable. The touchpad on the face of the mouse is definitely a plus for editing but not enough to justify a cramped up hand. If you’re a video editor I’d recommend avoiding it for your longevity

The Apple Magic Mouse = Magic!!!!!

These are simply fantastic, not simply for the ease of connectivity, but the touch-slide control functions in the palm of your hand along with stable bluetooth wireless connection. Over all the fit and finish is flawless, smooth and lightweight. The advantage over te previous battery model, is that it recharges from your USB-C cable fairly quickly, and you don't have to scramble to go out and buy AAA batteries every few weeks = a MUCH better solution, and 5-stars!!!!!
