Battery life is great so far. I got this on Black Friday 2016 with my iMac purchase. I'm always attached to a mouse, and I always wanted to try the trackpad. I took the leap and bought one. So far, I find it better than the Apple mouse because there are way more shortcuts on the trackpad 2. I get more control of my desktop with it. No complaints so far. Easy to setup.

I was in doubt of purchasing this accessory and thought price was too high for it but definitely I cannot regret buying it. It is very helpful and useful.

Very satisfied with this track pad!! Apple doesn't disappoint with this one. Very responsive and accurate. Will probably buy a second one.

The trackpad is very impressive. If you are used to the 3-D Touch on your iPhone, it starts to feel like second nature to you on the computer when you use the trackpad. The only two drawbacks would be the price and the fact that not many of the apps on the Mac currently take advantage of the trackpad's capabilities.

Not a lot to say, much better than the original. Multi touch works great and battery lasts for extremely long time. Very easy to set up, just plug in.

This has been a great product and I would recommend it because it is easy to use and a must have for those to have the best experience with your iMac

I recently purchased the new 27 inch iMac and this is a must have - much easier to to use than the standard mouse that is provided with the computer

Everything about this is better than the original Magic Trackpad, but once again, Apple is charging too much. I really tried to like this, but just couldn't justify the cost after using it for a couple days versus my current Magic Trackpad 1. I primarily use a mouse anyway, with the trackpad being used just for gestures and swiping, pinch/zoom, etc. Now if I primarily used the trackpad without a mouse, then yeah, I'd keep this one in a heartbeat. But for my uses, just can't justify it.

I had been using the battery operated trackpad for years and I liked it but the frequent loss of power due to battery depletion was a bit annoying. Trackpad 2 is rechargeable and has a greater lifespan. I also like the responsiveness of this gadget and greater variety of touches.

I was somewhat skeptical about purchasing the trackpad. At first I was totally confused but after I got used to it wow. I think it's this is better than both track ball and mouse. It didn't take long for me to get used to either. Built-in rechargeable capability I charged it once unplug it and have had it unplugs for about a month now and still going strong.

Love the wireless trackpad. Super easy to setup and love to use it. I am totally switched over to being a Non-Mouse guy, The Trackpad is great.

I recently bought an IMac with the Magic Mouse, which works fine except on my desk I have to slide it too far on the surface of the desk to get to both edges of the screen. So I bought the trackpad and it works flawlessly and doesn't take up a lot of room on the desk surface. As a plus, when you knee to recharge it, you can continue to use it, unlike the mouse.

Having used computers with a "mouse" and with built-in trackpads in portable computers, I have found it is much easier and intuitive to use the Apple Magic Trackpad for navigating on the computer screen. Yes, I'll quickly admit that it takes a little bit of getting accustomed to the different way of navigating on the screen when using the trackpad instead of a mouse, but I find it is easier to use than a mouse since I don't have to find space on my desk to run the mouse to the far corners, or pick it up, then put it back down to move across from one corner to another, as I would do with a mouse. Clicking, double clicking, etc is very easy, and the Apple computer easily lets the user customize the meaning of single or double clicks on the surface of the Trackpad. I'm very happy with this product, and I'm so accustomed to using it, when I have o use a computer that has a mouse attached, instead of a trackpad, it truly feels awkward.

Apple did not disappoint again. Great functionality but taking some time to get used to. Way better than Apple wireless mouth.

Ever since I switched to Mac and started using the original Magic Trackpad, I have been longing for Apple to make one that is re-chargable. Finally my prayers have been answered! This new Magic Trackpad works awesome and is charged using the same Lightning cable as my other i-Devices! I also love the white color and the fact that the new model is wider!

I purchased this to use with a Mac Mini. The Mac Mini easily identified it during set up. I've had it for roughly 1 month. To date, I haven't had any issues and it has not required charging. I, also, paired with a Chromebook and it worked. I love the sleek design and wide coverage.

this is a great trackpad that is a better alternative to a mouse. Especially if you are using Adobe products like photoshop this benefits

Wouldn't want to give up my mouse and use just a trackpad like on the MacBooks but it is a great compliment to the magic mouse on a MAC.
