It's expensive and it looks cool …oh, and it's also functional. Just as any with touch surface, if you have sweaty hands it can be a pain too use but this has done wonders — as an alternative to the mouse — for my wrist pain. Just remember to enable some of the optional features in System Preferences, especially the accessibility feature of three finger drag.

Good product. Every bit as functional as the standard mouse but more durable and as convenient as a wireless mouse.

I don't know what kind of crazy sorcery Apple has baked into this Magic Trackpad 2, but it never ceases to impress me. When it is on, the haptic feedback is precise and you would swear the device is physically moving down and clicking. When it is off the device is obviously not moving whatsoever and is solid. It is large, perfectly tuned and precise. It is magic. Oh, it works perfectly with a Chromebook, by the way. Highly recommended.

I purchased the Apple keyboard plus number pad as it was hurting my wrists to use the MacBookPro keypad, but i missed the track pad. Have not regretted either purchase. I miss working at my desk during these work form home days, but this has made life easier. I did purchase the Open Box item for the track pad and it was just like brand new. I have been super impressed with the charge it holds. Have not had to recharge after 2 weeks of use.

Do allot of design and video editing and this trackpad is awesome! The battery lasts a long time and works fantastic.

This trackpad is a great improvement over the original trackpad. The battery life, which I initially had doubts about, it great and it seems to last forever. I use this one my iMac because it's easier and faster than a mouse and my shoulder and arm do not seem as sore as when I was using a mouse.

This new track pad is great! Super easy to use. I like the new design and ability to recharge it when needed. No more batteries.

I absolutely love the trackpad. Works as well or better than the built in one on my mb pro. Still, it’s quite pricey. I bought refurbished and so it was only around $100 but that’s steep. However I like the trackpad 100% better than a mouse so if you feel the same it’s worth it.

I wish it weren’t so expensive, but it is a great product. Using this you won’t want to bother with a mouse ever again.

I had never used a track pad before, so this was the first experience I had with an external trackpad. It is amazing! I am very happy I bought this instead of the magic mouse. This trackpad is easy to use and easy to learn how to use. It made working on my computer a lot faster so it improved my productivity. I now feel bothered whenever I use another computer that only has a mouse - I realize how much longer it takes me to move around my computer files without the trackpad. I am VERY Impressed with this track pad.

I had the old trackpad that I now use for home, and bought this new trackpad for work. The new trackpad is much bigger and has a smoother surface. Force-click is a neat feature; it saves me a few clicks here and there. You'll have to Google all of the features that force click allows for OSX to know what you can do with it. I'm also happy to throw batteries away. It comes charged right out of the box. Is it worth $120 though? I suppose so, I think $100 would be a fairer price for this. But that's Apple's call.

I’m enjoying it so far. If you have a MacBook the use is a no brainer since the gestures are the same. I like not needing a mousepad and I also like the low profile of it. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is the expense. I love Apple but I also think their cost is a little high.

Replaced my mouse about a month ago and haven't missed it since. Very easy to use and feels great. Nice size and looks nice on the desk.

Much more to my liking and better responsive in the previous version. I liked that one better.

This trackpad is nice as it is a large surface and makes navigating multiple screen easier to do.
