This trackpad is just like the one you will find on any newer MacBook, except it is about double the size. I bought this to use when my MacBook is in clamshell mode and hooked up to my tv as a monitor. It did its job wonderfully but I only ended up using it once. If I used my tv as a monitor more often I would not hesitate to pick up this trackpad again.

Great trackpad, no issues, easy to connect and no batteries! Absolutely love it.

At first, I had purchased a mouse to go with my laptop but I missed my track pad so much I needed this one!!! I use a stand for my laptop to correct my posture since I'm working all day on my laptop and this track pad works better than my actually laptop track pad hahaha. HIGHLY recommend this. Looks amazing too.

If you're trying to decide weather to buy the magic track pad or the magic mouse, I would personally say, buy both! But I know normal people usually won't because they basically do the same thing. The track pad, however, is able to apply gestures to the iMacs like on the macbook pros. So if you're looking for more capabilities go with the magic track pad. I would also shed out the couple extra bucks for this one since its the newest version.

This feels just like the trackpad on my MacBook Pro. I got the Apple Magic Keyboard to use with my laptop, and this just seemed like a logical addition. I haven't used a mouse in years because it feels awkward to me. This is the perfect solution. Works great. Only needed to charge it once since I got it a few weeks ago. Very happy with my purchase.

I wanted to then my 2016 MacBook Pro into a desktop so naturally I needed an exterior keypad. It was either between this or the old one, and this has the integrated double-touch pressure sensor pad (and Best Buy doesn't carry the old ones in store anymore). My only gripe, along with everyone else, I'm sure, is the price. It was more than I thought I should have to pay, but I'm sure the newer technology wasn't cheap to integrate so you have to weigh the pros and cons for yourself. After I got over the sticker shock, I am happy with my purchase. I have the wired Apple keyboard with the numeric keypad so it's extremely easy and convenient to charge this trackpad, but I've had it for around a month now and haven't had to charge it at all. Overall, once you bite the bullet and shell out the cash, it's a good product to have.

The MAC desktop is an amazing piece of electronics. The track pad is an essential piece to complete the Apple experience. The wireless mouse is adequate but the track pad just gives it a more comfortable feel. There are times when I have the track pad in my lap and do all my work leaned back in my chair. The response time is amazing and it's the battery life is not an issue. The track pad is a must for even the modest desktop users.

Introduced to trackpad with my previous iMac. Needed new one as former iMac was damaged. Trackpad sold separately. (Had a choice between mouse and trackpad when previous iMac purchased.) This version has improvements: its a little heavier, the surface angle seems to be a little lower and the surface a little larger. Also, I like that it is charged with USB cable which comes with it. I'm happy!

I purchased this trackpad as I have started using a docking station for my MacBook Pro. I am very much used to the experience of the trackpad on the laptop and this seemed like the perfect device. It worked great and I enjoyed the experience however I had to return the device as I started noticing my wrist and arm going numb after I used it for a while. I looked online and noticed others were having the same problem. I never had the problem on the laptop but the laptop does have a flat Trackpad where as this one is slanted. I will very much like to purchase this again if I can figure out a way for my hand to not go numb after prolonged use.

I use this trackpad on my Macbook Pro when i have it in "desktop" mode when editing videos and pictures. The gestures, scrolling, and zooming on this thing is amazing. It helps me scrub timelines easily vs a mouse. I do however, have a mouse attached for my point and click tools that i need. This trackpad compliments a mouse extremely well. Especially for Mac gestures.

I recently purchased my first desktop computer and out of habit I kept pinching and zooming on my desk. This has sped up and improved my workflow, a nice addition to just using a mouse.

The Apple track pad 2 makes maneuvering around a 27inch IMac screen a breeze. I initially tried to use the mouse that came with the desktop but quickly realized I needed a more accommodating tool to feel comfortable (at least for me) . It’s a total game changer. Well worth the money. Highly recommend.

I got this trackpad as an add on with my Imac. I was worried at first because the last model used batteries and had to be recharged all the time and the Bluetooth took a while to connect. The new model is perfect! It uses the lightning cable to recharge and the battery life is outstanding! I Bought my computer on New year's day and I still have 65% battery life remaining. I use it every day. I can't recommend this enough!

Im new to Apple computers, and got the new 5k 27", and couldn't leave the store without getting the magic trackpad. Im glad I did, its a great addition and I couldn't imagine not having it. I use in conjunction with the mouse daily and its a wonderful combo. Like the title says, its a must have, don't buy an apple without it. And If you already bought an Apple and don't have one...Well go get one right now, you'll thank me later.

At times I still like the feature of a track pad as if on my laptop. But I also purchased this for convenience. I can use it at times for when my mouse needs charged. I have some arthritis in my hands, using the mouse can be somewhat uncomfortable for those longer times at the computer. So I can use this track pad or my mouse as needed to ease that discomfort in each hand.

I love how much bigger it is. Much better than the old one!

Take full advantage of everything your Mac has to offer with Trackpad 2. As a long time user of the Magic Mouse which I liked a lot this improved my user experience.

No one does trackpads like Apple, super functionality. I like the low profile design of this one.
