I bought this to replace the Apple Trackpad 1. Although the technology between both is similar, the one key difference between the two that blew my mind was the sheer size of this new trackpad. It has a ton more space to use for finger gestures. It's also great for me because I have very large hands.

My wife purchased this along with the Magic Keyboard. She has had no issues and likes the size of it. It connected and synced to her MacBook Pro with no issues. A bit pricey, but that's Apple's m.o.

Its a good idea buy apple. you move the pointer with you finger and don't the pad doesn't move unlike the mouse. zooming and copying was hard to get used to. Price is too high for it.

I was pleasantly surprised to find how easy the magic pad is to use. Ido; however, use both the pad and the mouse. It is easier to zoom in and out with the pad and it saves the wrist movement. I recommend viewing a tutorial and practice. it took me a couple fo days to get the feel of it.

Low profile trackpad and easy to connect. Large trackpad to access everything on the screen.

If you have ever owned or used a Mac, you know how awesome the glass touchpad is. This Magic Trackpad 2 is ginormous - very close in size to the one on my 2019 MacBook Pro 16". It is just like the one on MBP in terms of usability and feel. Your fingers will glide smoothly on glass, the clicks are satisfying, and multi-touch gestures are truly wonderful. I am using it with my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9" (along with a Magic Keyboard), and it is perfect. It *nearly* feels like I am using a full MacBook Pro. I am certain that this combination is better than the upcoming $350 keyboard/touchpad case, whatever it is called. The biggest con is that it is not cheap as compared to other brands' similar products, but the superior compatibility with an iPad Pro and its fantastic build quality make this a tremendous value, IMHO.

Apple's Trackpad is an excellent addition with its smooth natural fingertip cursor navigation and multi-finger gestures. It's almost like finger-painting the computer screen and all the pages and images found there.

The rechargeable capability blows the original Trackpad away! I was forever replacing batteries.

After years and years of using a computer mouse, it's hard to think of using anything else. THIS is an amazing add to our iMac. Takes a little adapting to but it is VERY EASY to install/setup/customize. Get rid of your mouse and embrace something new and better!

Finally bit the bullet and bought this trackpad. I'm sad that I waited so long. It is a bit larger than I need, but don't mind because it is exactly what I wanted/needed. I was used to the trackpad on the laptops and I don't care for the apple mouse. This does it all.

The track pad should come with the Mac, but it doesn’t. I get it, the Mac has a reasonable price tag. The track pad is easy to set up and easy to use. When the battery gets low, a message box on the screen tells you to charge it. Lovely!

My original track pad stopped working and I wanted to replace it with the identical item. However, I have been very happy with this larger track pad. It is easier now to drag and drop things - more surface space to work with Also, it feels sturdier and not as prone to being bent as my old track pad.

My magic mouse was a few years old and sticking. Rather than buy it again, I invested in the magic trackpad. Turns your mac into a smartphone with swipes, pinches, and gestures like an iphone. Much easier on the wrist too. Love this!

Love this product and it’s functionality. It’s super easy to setup just about flawless and use is basically just pair to complete full functions and use is straight out the box. Apple makes flawless products.

The magic track pad works just like the MacBook track pad; which was what I was looking for... it allows me to hook my MB Pro into a larger screen and I can then push the MB Pro further back on my desk and use the wireless keyboard and Magic Trackpad with the secondary larger screen.

I purchased this item less than a week after purchasing my iMac. The Magic Mouse that comes with it required a lot of desk room to navigate around the large screen. With the Magic Trackpad however, navigation is easy, intuitive, and effortless. I absolutely love it!

Exactly what you would expect from an Apple product, great form and function and top of the line packaging.

I know the price is a living high but there is a difference between the previous model. For one the size of pad is bigger but when you use it it feels twice as big. Once you start using it and enjoy having the bigger pad to move around you will soon forget about the price and be very happy with it.

As usual I love all Apple products since I am a Apple fan. lol It works great even though I honestly already had the smart keyboard case for my 12.9 iPad. This is good to have if you want a bigger track pad to use with it.

best investment for Mac users, I use this for my home office and do design/video editing and prefer to use this over the mouse to cut back on the carpal tunnel. I love it and think it's well worth the investment
