I purchased the trackpad because I did not like the magic mouse. I found it quite annoying. I have grown accustomed to the trackpad on my MacBook Pro and wanted the same user experience, I sold the mouse. I received a great deal on open box and used my BB points.

I bought this for my iPad Pro 12.9 and while it took me a little bit of time to learn all the gestures it was worth it. It makes navigating the iPad so much better and I actually end up forgetting that I'm not using a laptop now.

I was tired of dragging across a large screen on iMac. What came with it was just too stupid.. This works great and very responsive. If your doing alot of "dragging" and "clicking" this is truly a must for a large screen

I love having the same system of control with a trackpad on my desktop as well as when I am using my laptop on my lap. The control is accurate and predictable. I really like how sharp it is. It also looks beautiful on the desk.

Probably one of the best Mac accessories released in awhile. Sleek and modern, smooth and portable. I place it to the left of my keyboard, to scroll and tap through screens. The scrolling works better on this trackpad than scrolling via Apple's mouse :)

I love the glass feel. It is smooth and very responsive with a large surface. It is the same width and height as my Apple Magic keyboards when I place them side by side, and they sit flush with each other.

I paired it with my m1 macbooik air and it works like a charm. It seamlessly works with my mac and no trackpad can compete with it. A bit pricey but high quality. Highly recommended for mac users.

I have the magic mouse, I should have bought this trackpad first! My magic mouse is now a table ornament . Don't get me wrong, the mouse served it purpose well ( for about a week ) until I decided on the trackpad. Everything I can do on the house, I can do on the trackpad...plus more!

Force Touch Makes all the Difference

Apple's glass, multitouch trackpads are all very good, but Force Touch make them even better. I never liked using the physical single button trackpads because the pressure required to click was different depending on how far your finger is from the hinge at the top. I opted instead to enable tap-to-click. Force touch, on the other hand, uses pressure sensors for a single surface that allow it to act like a scale. The same pressure at any point is registered as a click and the amount of pressure required can be changed in software in System Preferences. The haptic feedback (vibration) used to mimic a button click is so precise it's easy to forget it's not a real button. The removal of the hinge and actuated button allows Apple to make the surface almost as big as they want. I cannot understate how large the trackpad surface is compared to other trackpads I have used. It is easily 6 times the area of trackpads that are still common place on smaller laptops.

I bought this because of an arm injury that made it difficult to use my mouse, in that regard it was easy to use because it required less arm and wrist movement to use. The quality, setup, and use is very easy. I'ts a nice supplement to a mouse. If you primarily use a laptop and are used to a trackpad you'll like it at a desktop, however if you primarily use a mouse it may not be for you.

I love it. I use it when I have my MacBook Pro docked and it has the same feel and quality of the built in trackpad. Smooth and silky finger tracking and highly accurate. This is a Mac trackpad in every respect except it is larger. Holds charge for a long time. I love it!

Wow they both have their own purpose but I do find myself using the magic pad more and more! It does take practice and patients to get the hang of it. But I'm glad I bought it and it was an open box item so I saved money!

I use to be a computer mouse user, but after I installed my Apple Magic Trackpad 2 I wonder how I got along with out it. Its easy to use and can be used wired or wireless . The mouse was like old technology and I feel like I am in the future.

A step up from the previous generation trackpad, unnecessarily expensive however. It works, it's a trackpad. Not 5 stars because of price!!

Solid Apple accessory reminds me of the past

I used for a long time the touchpad on a Macbook Pro and when I opted to attach it to a 27" monitor, it made sense to use an external keyboard and mouse. Due to a shoulder injury, the only two options were a trackball or touchpad. I opted to get the Trackpad and see how it works out. I was more than happy with the purchase as it is solidly made and this time around with a good feature set. The specs allow for cable free use (Bluetooth) or can be connect via detachable cable and the fixed battery within is rechargeable. This is the Apple of the past where the details make the difference. I use it along with its keyboard counterpart and it is a great combo. If there is a wish item it would be more about the software side controls for the touch pad to be a bit different and of course a lower price.

I love this thing! It's way better than a mouse for general daily use. I edit a lot of photos and the Trackpad2 shines even brighter when I have to ”paint” things in photoshop. I'm never buying a mouse again!

I purchased this for my mac mini that I use as an iTunes movie consumption device in the living room. Works great! Probably a bit overpriced for what it was but I found one that was open box and that helped me save some $$. Overall, it works great and gestures obviously work.

You will never go wrong with this trackpad. It can't be any easier to use. It's sensitive to the touch and extremely precise. Once you go trackpad you'll never go back... lol.
