If you like/love Apple's trackpads, this update is worth it. It took me a while to justify the cost, already owning the first Apple Trackpad. When I finally purchased, I never thought once about returning it. Not only is the battery life after full charge much longer than this trackpad's predecessor, you never have to remove batteries to replace or charge. As simple as it could be with the original trackpad, it always felt mildly infuriating to stop mid project to replace batteries. With Apple's newest trackpad, just plug in the included lighting to usb cable and it instantly pairs with your Mac, or recharges the internal battery while you continue work. The fit and finish is beautiful. The angle this new trackpad sits is less severe than its predecessor. And, the built in "Force Touch" is remarkable; you'll swear there's a spring in there somewhere. Get one if you're curious or need a trackpad — I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I got this to replace my previous tracker pad which ran off batteries. Easy set up. Plugged it into my Mac and it synced and worked immediately. I’ve had it for 3 weeks and still haven’t charged it since the first day.

I'm new to the iMac, and had never used a trackpad, but after giving it a try, I'd never go back to the Apple mouse. Easy to use and it's very easy to navigate quickly with minimal effort. I'm now a believer.

The store got this to me fast! Trackpad is awesome for quickly smaller gestures to expand, find apps when multiple are open, and a lot of others that you can turn on and off to not get in the way!

I originally purchased an open box Magic Trackpad. But overtime I turned off my iMac it disconnected and would not connect automatically. So I returned it. A friend bought me a new one as a gift and I love it. It was easy to set up and there are loads of configuration options.

I bought this item after much praise from the apple guy at my local Best Buy, the pressure touch is really neat, and the way that the track pad works makes the use of my iMac much more accessible and easier to use. Quite pricey but I do believe that it is worth it for ease of use.

This version of the Magic Trackpad is simply great. I love that you charge it once and the battery lasts a good while. Its slim form factor is great and a plus is that you can use it with you MacBook and your iPad.

I've had the trackpad for nearly a year and have had zero problems with it. It never fails to pair with the MacBook Pro, perfectly matches the keyboard and it's rechargeable. It's larger and the shape matches the screen better than the previous trackpad.

Purchased as a gift for my wife's MacBook Air. She does a lot of work with photos and while the Magic Mouse is nice, this pad is better for her photo editing with the same features as the built in pad on the MacBook.

This is much better than the old trackpad. It brings Force Touch, better gesture controls, smoother tracking and better response to desktop Macs. Essentially the same experience as the newer MacBooks. Being rechargeable (instead of batteries) is a huge bonus.

I use it 90 percent of the time, but keep a mouse connected for certain rapid click & move situations. I think changing devices helps prevent repetitive motion injury. "I'm a doctor, not an engineer!" (Dr. McCoy to others on Start Trek - episode "Mirror Mirror".)

Click and drag is unique, but overall excellent product. Helps open the power of the newest OS

At first i was reluctant to buy this trackpad since i already had the magic mouse and was so used to using it. However, after a few days i find myself using instead of the mouse. I love all the gestures and can now have one less thing cluttering my desk, the mouse.

A just have for your iMac. Plug and play, easy setup and better than we expected.

I think the track pad is awesome. I was hesitant to try it for a couple of years. I like it better than the mouse because it is easier on the wrist, more movement of the cursor, and the shortcuts are easy to access.

The Apple Magic Trackpad 2 is amazing technology! A must-have for any iMac user!

Works great. It is great to use as a Secondary mouse when using it with garage band or photoshop. It can be used as a primary mouse but can be a bit challenging with large spreadsheets. Good product !!

This product helps my wife in many ways in the operation of her computer system

Great trackpads, as with all other trackpads Apple makes. Static surface (doesn't click, but provides an illusion that it does) may throw some off, but otherwise works well. Cons: Expensive, but no trackpad touches this for Macs.
