Since hearing about the new Magic Track Pad, I knew I had to have one for my 27" iMac. Had been using the original track pad. Really like the larger glass surface for moving things across the big screen. Would have given it 5 stars but it seems overpriced, particularly when compared to the $99 price tag on the new Magic Keyboard. Still, as far as the product, it's a must have for me as I hate using mice.

This is a great trackpad and a great upgrade from Apple‘s last offering. My old trackpad had rubber feet on the bottom that were constantly tearing and ripping off and prevented the trackpad from functioning properly - this will not be a problem with their new design. Great style and functionality as usual from Apple!

I dock my MacBook Pro and I have been using a Windows keyboard and trackball mouse. I needed a solution to be able to use the gestures that Apple implemented for changing programs, screens, desktops, selecting, etc. I agonized a bit over spending $129 for the Magic Trackpad, but I did find an Open Box option and saved $20. Lucky I guess. I love everything about it except the price and that is not Best Buy's fault.

I like using the Trackpad instead of a mouse. It takes a little bit of time to get used to it, but once you do, you'll like it too! No more clicking or right-clicking, just tap and go! Unlike it's predecessor this one has a rechargeable battery, so there is no stopping to replace batteries, just plug in the lightening cable and keep working! Try it! You won't be sorry!

The magic trackpad 2 is much better than I anticipated. It's really smooth and responsive. So glad I picked one up to use on my desk when I have my MacBook Pro connected to my monitors and magic keyboard.

If you are going from a laptop to a desktop, as I did, this mouse will really feel comfortable. It is accurate and sleek. You don't need to worry about having space to move it. it's the future of mouses.

I bought this Trackpad for my iPad Pro. iPadOS 13.4 does a great job allowing its use. I already use one for my Mac mini. I love the trackpad over the mouse because you get more hand gestures like pinch to zoom. The trackpad doesn't need a mouse pad or room to move around like a mouse. I bought Silver to save some money even though Space Gray would match my devices.

If you are wondering whether to purchase the new magic louse or the trackpad - do the trackpad. Huge deface ares to work on, can be used for drawing, signatures, and it just feels that much better.

Great for using with the IPad Pro. Now that I’m using my IPad full time working remotely this was a must to avoid neck and shoulder pain from raising my arm to use the touch screen. Also great with zoom calls as it’s more seamless by using the Track pad and no one needs to see me using my finger to adjust controls during the zoom meeting!

I bought this to use with my iMac since it was not touch screen and I am loving the ease of a touch screen anything. I looked online but wanted to check this product out asap and never looked back. The cost is worth it because it is easy to setup and use. I have only had to charge it once every 4 or 5 months and we are on the computer daily for hours.

I love my MacBook Pro's trackpad and I also love the space grey color it's in. When Apple released the space grey option I had to make the purchase. It's large surface area allows for all of the gestures and swipes that you're used to on the MacBook. The battery life is wonderful and set up a breeze. Simply plug in the Lightning charging cable to the trackpad and to your Mac and it's paired.

I purchased the Magic Trackpad 2 after 10 months of fighting with the Magic Mouse. I was constantly having to pick up the mouse and reposition before I could make it across the screen. The trackpad allows me to move seamlessly across the screen without lifting my hand. Bonus features include all the cool shortcuts that allow you to access different pages at the touch of a finger... or two or three. Slight learning curve but well worth it!

Learning to Use My Magic Trackpad 2

This device is taking me some time to learn how to use this to its full potential. The more I use it the more I learn & the better I like it. I've had it for 3 weeks & feel I have just begun to tap in to all this is capable of. I had a Logitech Trackball I was using before I got the Trackpad. I definitely should have got the Magic Trackpad from the beginning. The price is why I didn't but now that I have it it was definitely worth it.

I use a docking station for my Mac Powerbook Pro which works with the laptop closed ("closed-clamshell" or "closed-display" mode). I tried using it with a mouse, but missed the trackpad's functionality. Now that I have one, I don't know how I ever survived without one! It pairs easily, has a larger surface area than the built-in trackpad, is every bit as responsive, and has a smooth surface that's easy to use, and easy to clean.

Still use my Apple Magic Mouse regularly out of habit, but this trackpad has better functionality for zooming and rotating in some applications. Large surface area allows for a wide on-screen cursor movement range, while easily allowing precise cursor targeting as well. Click action/feel very nice over entire surface. I would probably be OK retiring the Magic Mouse altogether and using this trackpad exclusively.

If you're used to the trackpad on a MB, this is a great transition when going with a desktop setup. Wide enough for all swipes, the shortcuts already programmed in my brain transition flawlessly from portable to desktop. Battery lasts about a month and can be charged while using. Guaranteed Apple design and quality to boot.

I like the size of the trackpad. If it were smaller it would be hard to navigate but it's the perfect size for using it easily without taking up too much space on the desktop.
