It works like a charm! I love how its rechargeable. I feel like I have barely had to charge it even though I've been using it for almost a month. Great technology from Apple.

I first bought an iMac in 2012 and had never used the trackpad before. After using it I never want to go back to the regular mouse. I bought this when I got my new computer and it didn't come with the trackpad. That was disappointing. It' kind of expensive but, for me, I prefer using this. It's just more comfortable to use.

Nice Upgrade from Previous Models, but some issues

I'll start off by saying that this is one sweet trackpad upgrade from the previous models!. Overall performance, and the extra real estate along with the 3D touch style integration is awesome! It also, of course, retains the gesture functionality still, which is good. I have only two problems with this new model: 1) It's way too expensive for what it is by at least $40-$50 bucks. This should really be priced more between $80-$90 dollar range IMHO. 2) For this price point on a peripheral, I'm concerned with longevity of the sealed battery for this product. How long will it last before it won't hold it's charge anymore? What is the Apple policy for battery replacement at that point? Would it even be worth trying to get it serviced? I'm hoping that when that day inevitably comes, I can at least just leave it hooked up to the computer via the lightning cable and use it as a wired trackpad at that point. Until that time comes though, there's no real way to test that theory out.

This was purchased for use with my new desktop Mac and works wonderfully. It's so much easier than working with a mouse that I have to wonder why my very high end Mac desktop does't come with one. It makes me feel like Apple is being a little stingy and using the ploy to wring more cash from it's customers. Really, this should be standard on higher end models.

I love this trackpad and I'm glad i don't have to keep replacing batteries like the previous version. The touch surface is large and it makes it easy to use the gestures.

This version of the trackpad is superior to the previous version. Sure, it is rechargeable - but the greatest benefit is the easy touch. It is difficult to describe in words, but it is just more responsive and is easier to use. Further, it is much larger so drag and drop (and other activities) are much easier to perform. This is a bit expensive, but it is great - I don't need my mouse anymore.

I think the pad is sleek and fits nicely beside the keyboard. It is easier for me to use than the mouse. Operation is very smooth and accurate. I like the functionality of all the swipes and pinches and overall control is excellent. A charge lasts me a couple of weeks since I am not a super heavy user.

This is nice. I have the Magic Mouse and switched to this. 10x better. Especially if you are using a Mac. You can easily use gestures and it makes the whole experience exactly how it should be. Editing using this is awesome. The one thing is that if you leave it on you can’t use the trackpad in your MacBook. Which doesn’t happen too often where I find myself wanting to use both but when you have multiple screens and working back and forth you naturally find yourself trying to use the built in trackpad. Other than that, this is exactly what you want for a Mac.

This trackpad is great. The Multi-Touch gestures and Force Touch technology, work flawlessly. It's large, and the glass surface allows you to swipe and scroll, ever so smoothly. Of course I wouldn't expect anything less from Apple.

I've used the original Magic Trackpad for years and finally decided to try the MT2 and all I can say is Wow! Much nicer experience because it's 20% larger and very sleek. The real bonus is no more batteries because it's rechargeable. Pairing is a breeze because all you have to do is connect it to your Mac with the included lightening cable and it pairs instantly.

I just bought this yesterday but I’m loving it already. I recently bought a Mac mini & was using my old keyboard and mouse. I really didn’t have enough space to use the mouse properly. I saw this track pad & thought, “why not?” I haven’t regretted it yet. It paired with the Mac mini as soon as I turned them on. It takes up minimum room on my desk. And is easy to use.

Bought this because I prefer this over the Magic Mouse (not a fan) and it works as you would expect, especially if you’re experienced with MacBooks. It is a bit overpriced in my opinion, but most Apple products tend to be. The build quality is, of course, great (it’s Apple) and works right out of the box.

This I feel is a great upgrade to your iMac. Easy to connect, you can use it plugged in if it disconnect for any reason. It makes you feel somewhat like you’re using a touch screen. For me it’s better than the mouse/Magic Mouse. The price was the only concert. Shop around to get it for the cheapest you can
