If you're thinking about buying a new Magic Trackpad, I just wanted to give you my two cents. I've been using it for a few days now, and I'm really liking it. It's super smooth and responsive, and the gestures are intuitive. I think you'd really like it if you're looking for a new trackpad whether you have a Mac or a Windows PC like I do. It just takes a little work to get all the gestures on a PC but it's easy.

I really like my Apple Magic Trackpad.. I don't miss my old style mouse a bit.. I loved it from the beginning I set it up.

Paired with Mac easily, works well, haptic feedback nice. Expensive however.

Great product! I have a median nerve injury and can’t use a mouse well. This was a game changer. I wanted a black trackpad to match all of my black products but the price was so much higher. So, I purchased an open box white and then added a cool dark Fishskyn wrap which looks and works great!

A little bit expensive like all apple devices and peripherals but good. My desk is small so makes no sense the use of it.

This is the best trackpad money can buy, hands down. I use it with my work MacBook when I work from home, and I use it on my PC (through third party software called Magic Utilities). The gesture support is amazing, it's very accurate, and the movement is very smooth both over bluetooth and wired. If you have the money, and want a track pad, this is the one!

I love the magic trackpad. I use this as my main mouse for my M2 Mac Mini and even though I have another mouse I never use it. The trackpad has a bunch of easy to learn gestures for navigating Mac OS and then if you want to you can up that with third party software. Highly recommended!

It’s exactly what you would expect. It’s got good build quality. And as much real estate as the trackpad in the new iPads. I like the slight angle of it as well. The battery is great, but unlike the magic mouse, this one you can actually use while it’s plugged into power.

This is the thing that Apple makes besides MacOS. I'd use this over a Magic Mouse any day of the week and twice on Sunday. It's a learning curve to be sure. But once you get it down you'll be navigating MacOS like a real pro. Multi-tasking, scrolling, and just about everything else is a dream on the trackpad.

Very easy to use, and quick to install. Battery last forever too! Highly recommended!

I purchased this as an upgrade to my previous trackpad because I was sick of replacing AA batteries in it. This one works great and connecting it to my Mac was simple.

Yes, I’m aware I paid extra for the color option. That shouldn’t be a thing, but it is. Color and price aside, this is easily THE best trackpad money can buy. Nothing else comes close. I use this along side my Logitech MX Master mouse. No, I don’t love the Magic Mouse as much as I do the Magic Trackpad, but that’s for another review.

Nothing groundbreaking here if you've used a current gen Apple trackpad before. FYI it's really big! The black finish is new and nice, though does show fingerprints more than the regular finish. A quick wipe resolves this issue. Ultimately pricey for what it is but that's Apple.

I bought this Magic Trackpad after using a Magic Mouse for a couple months on a Mac Mini. I've used a MacBook for years, and I assumed using a mouse would be easier, but when I started using a mouse, I found that basic tasks would take me way longer to complete. I also missed out on some gestures that I would normally use that required more than two fingers. I decided to give the trackpad a shot, and it made a huge difference. It has more surface area than my 2020 MacBook Pro and works great wirelessly. The battery lasts a long time (I haven't needed to charge it since I bought it at the beginning of the month). I just wish it was slightly cheaper, but it is great! I wish it was cheaper, but it's worth the money. PROS: Long battery life, includes braided charging cable, good wireless connectivity, good anti-slip bottom CONS: None

I’m not normally a fan of touchpads: one of the first things I do when setting up a new laptop is connecting a mouse and disabling the touchpad. However, Apple’s Magic Trackpad is so good on my Macbook Air that I decided to use one with my Mac mini in addition to a mouse. It is positioned to the left of the keyboard for the gestures that MacOS supports, especially the three finger swipe to switch virtual desktops. I would absolutely recommend this if you can afford it; it was worth every penny.
