Think the MacBook power adapter is the best type of its kind available, too bad PCM laptops seem unwilling to try and do the same thing, as it might lead to me taking a look at them more often, but that adapter, along with the MacBook is the best of the bunc.

I purchased this as a replacement for the AC adapter that came with my late 2011 17" MacBook Pro. When given the choice of vendors for my Mac accessories, I always go with Apple! Even though their price might not be fair, their products are high quality.

I like to not have to move power supplies when I move my laptop from downstairs to upstairs, so I bought a second one. Not a cheap solution, but very effective, and easy to implement. I am very happy with this solution and would recommend it to anyone who uses their Mac as much as I use mine.

Works just fine. Was having issues with charging and battery going dead fast. Suspected it was a faulty power supply...it was.. As usual, though, Apple products are outrageously priced :-/ The lack of a 'star' is because of the ridiculous price tag...

I'm open to using non-Apple options to replace other devices such as a mouse, keyboard, external hard drive, etc. but NOT the power supply. Be careful to match you laptop with the correct power supply.

I bought this item from Amazon and it was a terrible knockoff. It over heated and made my MacBook hot. Then I purchased from Best Buy and it works great.

Needed a replacement charger for my wife's 17 inch MacBook Pro. This one has worked well so far. The L connector works just as good as the T connector we had on the original charger. It's a bit pricey, but other than that it's been a great purchase.

I purchased this to replace my 7 year old charger macbook pro from 2011. Works great minus the charging light that turns off occasionally but is still charging. Just hope it lasts as long as my last one.

Wasn't sure if I could find a charging unit for my mid-2010 MacBook Pro, since they have changed with the newer laptops. Luckily, I found exactly what I needed at Best Buy. It's a life saver!

Own a 2007 Macbook Pro that still seems to be running fine for my needs - the power adapter started to fray and eventually stopped working. This adapter fit the bill and does exactly what I need it to do - charge the Macbook.

The item works great. This was a great addition to my 2011 Mac Book Pro because my original begin to show damage. This replacement was perfect.

Worked as I expected. It charged my device safely. I do believe this is an original part, so I didn't expect it not to work. If you need a charger for your computer, I think this is a good choice if it's the only one that fits.

I have an older MacBook my dog chewed up my charger :( so had to get a new one and when I went to Best Buy and got this one.. It has a long cord so happy about it previous one was kind of short to had to stay close to outlet.

Very happy with my replacement Apple power adapter. I trust this brand over similar 3rd party brands of cheaper quality, especially because I want to be sure my MacBook Pro is well taken care of.

Overall the durability of these chargers is dependent upon how you treat them. If you carefully wind up the cord and use the built-in cable management prongs that pop out of the power brick, leaving a little pigtail coming out of the power brick before winding up, it will last a long time.

Great for MacBook, bought this for my sister after her original Mac charger went out and she’s not had any problems with this one since.

I purchased the adapter to troubleshoot why my battery was not holding a charge. The adapter works as expected and I am able to delay replacing the computer.

My old cord was frayed at both ends. I was disappointed that the old cord depleted over time that way. I hope this cord will stand the test of time. It seems real solid and more durable than last cord, even though it's the same brand.
