If you have a Mac laptop this is a necessity. Replacing it can be expensive but it is worth it. Its a high quality product that is very durable and well crafted.

The perfect adapter for my laptop. I hardly ever unplug my computer to take it anywhere. This adapter cord is plugged in every day. It works great.

This is just as good as the one that came with my MacBook Pro! I have ordered cheep Chines knockoffs before but the springs in the pins ware out in a year.

I replaced the original DC power adapter that came with my Macbook Pro when I purchased it in 2009. The original magnetic adapter had two issues: 1, the wire became loose and started pulling out from the block. 2, The magnetic T became worn and would not always make adequate connection to charge the computer. This replacement made a very tight magnetic connection and the wires seem very sturdy and less likely to become lose, like the original. My only issue is that I preferred the original T style connection as this connection is more prone to breaking the magnetic connection when I move the location while the adapter is still connected. Even so, I would recommend this as a replacement for the original adapter.

If you still have an old MacBook puttering around that needs a MagSafe 1 charger, this is what you need. However it's a bulky and expensive product for what it is.

Replacement for one that I vacuumed up. This is an exact match to the one I had before.

Do not be fooled by Cheap knockoffs this is the real deal will last a long time unlike the ones on sites that are fake.

I am very pleased how user friendly it is but a little pricey. It is unfortunate that we cannot repair or exchange the old charger if wirings we're broken.

My original power adapter stopped working and had to buy a replacement. Same quality and performance. It does the job well and as expected

My last one frayed on the wire so it wouldn't charge so this was a replacement and worked great.

Never had a problem! Lasts a good while! Had to replace after a couple years due to kids LOL and moving...but that’s it!

I would love this item a lot more if it was about $20 cheaper. I guess Im paying for the apple name. Works great, heats up a lot. I honestly dont think it will last long.

This is the only replacement available for the MacBook Pro. We buy this one for the 13" model which is 25W more than required. No foul. It still works.

The item is always well packaged and in great condition. It is not as durable as I'd like it to be. But with how technology is these days [made to break] I'm surprised it lasts as long as it does.

Original adapter went bad on short notice and picked up this replacement at Best Buy. Worked like a charm, no problems or complications. Didn't miss a beat.

If your thinking about saving a few bucks and opting for a non-Apple made charger found online, don't -it honestly makes a difference to have the real deal.
