This has happened multiple times. For some reason, phone gets hot when using the MagSafe charger. Charging is put on hold until temperature is lower.

I bought this but now I am seeing black burning marks on the charger

For an apple charger I should have absolutely NO issues charging my new iphone. Does not charge my phone with or without a MagSafe case.

I don’t know how but my cord stopped charging right after the first 25-30 minute charge. I’ve tried multiple outlets and multiple different charger wall plugs just to make sure and it simply refuses to charge! I will be seeking out a refund or an item exchange because this is ridiculous.

It doesn’t charge my phone. It’s doesn’t seem to make a tight connection to charge. Disappointed

Not a fan of the wattage output so I returned the two that I bought. Seamless return was a plus.

This worked 1 time and then would not connect to my phone again.

Does not charge , it lights up saying it charges and it disconnects itself few seconds later

Works great...easy to use...nothing to plug into your phone...just set your phone on the base...charges quick

We got the iPhone 16 pro and iPhone 16 pro max through Verizon. Both look to be September builds. The pro and pro max would recognize and charge on our third party magsafe dock system. The pro would not recognize either old or new Apple magsafe charger with serval different charging bricks (including apple brand). The pro max would recognize both old and new magsafe chargers, but would not actually charge with the new 2m version (or maybe a few percent increase overnight). Reached out to apple customer support and kind of got the feeling thet were playing dumb. Told me to attach charger and do hard reset, if that didnt work the second step advice was to return the charger. It didn’t work, but I spent a few hours playing around. I found success after these steps (not sure of order matters). First after a few hard resets I toggled off all battery features and dropped the charge limit all the way down for a minute, then raised it back to 100. Then I dd a coupke hard resets (holding to let the apple logo disappear a few times). Then I did a normal shut down. Then I noticed a third way to shut down. If you do the hard reset process (vol up, vol down, lock button) i noticed the option to slide power down shows up on the screen before it would reset. I turned it off with that and left it off few a few minutes. Started to feel hear from the magsafe charger. Turned phone back on and it worked. With a 45w charging adapter it is not charging a percent per minute. Not sure if this is a for sure solution, but it worked by doing it on our two phones. Only issue now is the magsafe case for the pro does not recognize the either magsafe charger, but will recognize the dock. Could stil be a software issue or the case (from amazon).

Please be aware the new model of these mag safe chargers are thinner and a little smaller in diameter. Still work well but to make note of.

This works fine...the actual pad is smaller than I expected and you have to make sure your phone sits correctly.

Love this charger! No chance of damaging your phone this way.

Slower than cable but solved the problem of the charging cable falling out of the phone port.

Only apples new official magsafe charger can charge up to 25w for iphone 16 models.

It worked once and longer works to charge my phone. I bought Apple expecting high quality.
